Visit the Grand Casino in Dunedin

The Grand Casino, formerly known as the Dunedin Casino, is located in the original Grand Hotel which was built in 1883 with all the decadence of the Victorian era. The building has a spiral staircase, the original mosaic floor in the foyer, a domed roof at the entrance, and some of the finest ornate plasterwork in Dunedin. A restoration in 1999 saw the birth of the Dunedin Casino, and a refurbishment in 2021 modernised the Casino to make it more appealing to the current generation.






The Grand Casino boasts an on-site restaurant, the Grand Bar and Restaurant. This is open daily from 12pm, with a menu containing classic dishes as well as a mix of seasonal specialties.





The Grand Casino has over 180 Electronic Gaming Machines in denominations of 1c, 2c, 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c and $1.00. The gaming rooms of the Grand Casino offer a variety of exciting games for you to play including Baccarat, Blackjack, Roulette as well as Caribbean Stud Poker.
