Staff great.
Food great and good value.
Didn't eat the salad as didn't like the dressing but my friend liked it.
So personal taste on the dressing. Definitely not my taste.
I suggest to get the dressing on the side.
Down point was The Bog could of been cleaner, table sticky and dirty and floor had a puddle, spill drink on the floor. It was like a well used pub but I would definitely go back to The Bog to get the beef schnitzel and chips which were yummy.
I would get a different sauce on the schnitzel as the mushrooms were not cooked in the mushrooms sauce.
Perfect mixed drink coke and raspberry. Lots of fizz.
Well done.
Great music on the telly, 80's music.

Great food and staff members were great. A great pub atmosphere could do with an interior refresh

Friendly staffs.
Place has a bit worn out and needs a bit of cleaning.
Food's portion were huge. Enough for sharing. Taste was acceptable.
Pricing for food was very reasonable for the portion size

Very disappointed.
Got the chicken parmesan it was burt to a crisp.
Tried cutting into it and the chicken breast just slid out of the bread crumbs.
Makes me think how long it had been sitting there.
Didn't take the risk of eating it as it looked and felt like rubber.
The onion rings were the only good thing
But for $31 hard to say it was worth it.
Didn't even offer to refund me my money.
Away to kfc I go 😡

We visited for a quick half. I had a Bog ale which was delicious and is apparently the cheapest beer on their menu. Well worth the punt! The pub itself is quite atmospheric with friendly helpful staff . The building is really cool too. You should visit.

As a part of my Sperm Donation World tour of New Zealand I headed down to Dunedin. There was a quiz night on later that night so came back down, had a nice surf and turf and came dead last in the quiz. Good night.

This place is a fantastic. First time to dunedin and this is just what we were looking for to have a Guinness and dinner. The meals were great, very tasty generous portions, couldn't finish all of mine.

Nice centrally located bar for a casual drink and pub style food. Generally good service.

Edit. Recent visit with a group was not so enjoyable. Food took an hour come out, and all meals had quality issues. Schnitzel was not hot, beef and guiness pie pastry was burnt, rump steak was gristly, and seafood chowder, was over peppered and lacked quality seafood.

A lovely dining experience twas had...I tried my first Guinness, and I enjoyed it very much... nice taste and very easy to drink. We shared entrees of calamari, and stuffed mushrooms... very generous portions. I had corn, pumpkin and bacon fritter stack which was huge, and very filling. We also had the Surf n Turf, another massive meal, steak (which we couldn't finish), mussels, prawns, and chips. Unfortunately no room for dessert.
We waddled out, bellies full and content. Very happy chappies, cheers 😁
