Always have to call in for a cold beer, friendly staff, and a mixed grill whenever I'm in town. Great value bistro meals, large portions, yummy chips. Every restaurant should sell a mixed grill like these folks. It should be taught at chefs school. Best mixed grill in the country.

Had a night out here with work family. Great night. Got the blue cod meal. Absolutely delicious except the chips. Too many and they weren't good. Food service was excellent. Bar service, average. Barman didn't even check to see if payment approved before he moved on to the next customer .. I know it was busy .. but still. Great night though

Really awkward walking into the place with the locals tables pushed against the bar as soon as you walk in the door and being stared at as soon as your walking in. A better table layout would probably benefit and make it feel more welcoming.
Food pretty good for a bar meal from what we have experienced.
Staff are pretty friendly too hence the 4 star.
