I hadn't been here for years and regularly used to eat here in the past.
The service is wonderful and friendly. We arrived just before midday on a Saturday. I was blown away by how quiet the place was. Only 1 other diner with people casually dropping in eventually.
The food was very nice and I would go back.

One particular barman ruined the experience for 2 out of the 3 groups. Abusive to people for no reason, disgusting behavior. Even the Security man was shocked. Shame as it is a nice bar, 15 people won't be back.
We didn't have a meal, just drinks.

The lady who took my order was lovely and patient, let me take my time to decide, and food was at the table in a timely manner. Food tasted good. Had the gf option of roast for lunch (DID NOT REACT). Good experience all round

We were part of a big group in for tea and we were told they were short staffed that night in advance, but this didn't make any difference to the timing of meals being delivered or the quality. I had steak and it was cooked to perfection (med rare). the other meals around the table were also amazing, (the squid, the ribs, and the dumplings looked espesially scrumptious) there was plenty to choose from and ample GF, DF, Vg and V options.

Great atmosphere food wasnt great though steak was chewy and chicken was rubbery

Got the roast of the day,. Was pork.
Was not happy to find that they have almost no dairy free options on their menu.
I'd imagine that they would have a hard time convincing a vegan to eat here as a result.

Meal tasted like it was cooked by an amature.
I had to customize my order to ensure it was dairy free and that was pretty much the only thing I could eat besides chicken nuggets and chips.

Had a truly scrumptious meal tonight. Excellent. The service was great with neat friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us.

Recently visited for the first time in a while. Poor service, food wasn't cooked well and the chairs were too low for the tables. This used to be a great establishment. Has gone backwards.

Took my daughter out for lunch. We are both so full. Prices are good, place is warm. Thought it might have been busier for school holidays. Mushroom sauce is on point. Meals came out reasonably quick as well.
