Has heat pump inside our room for the winter. Reasonable quality and value. 5 mins drive to restaurants or cafe.

The room was perfect for 2 people. Has everything needed. No cooking facilities but they provide a toaster, jug and fridge. Good value for money.

A nice quiet place to stay, walking distance to St Kilda and St Clair beaches and cafés. Busses pick up from the bus stop right outside so an easy and cheap option for getting into the city.

Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. From the moment my husband and I arrived the staff were very kind and accommodating. They showed us our room and the rooms were so lovely and very comfy.
They answered any question we had and the food was to die for.
Would definitely recommend.

This is very low cost accommodation so it is unreasonable to expect give stars but if that is your budget then this is value for money, clean and the staff are very pleasant.

So clean, would really love to take the bed with me. The best sleep EVER!! Love the bar, such a friendly atmosphere!! I'll definitely be back!!

Great hotel in Dunedin. Love the location. Less car here, easy accessible. Receptionist is so friendly and helpful. Room is warm enough!

Very friendly, the locals are great too.
Great parking for long vehicles on site. My ute and trailer is 13 meters and had heaps of room to turn around. Would recommend for busses, truck only up to 4 or 5 axles. Truck drivers just leave your trailer somewhere else. Metro grass is just down the road with a large parking try there.

My only complaint would be that I have never been a fan of UHT milk sachets. :(

A small tetra-pak of blue or green milk to be offered at check-in would be great - or alternatively a jug of milk.

My wife and I spent three nights here. The motels are very good value for the price. They are small as others have said, but they are clean and warm, the beds are comfortable. The ensuite is adequate.They are "studio" units, so no cooking facilities. But there is a fridge, toaster and electric jug, with three sets of crockery and utensils. So it is adequate to prepare and consume a continental breakfast. The units are serviced daily so washing dishes is not an issue.Though we did find that having only one chair was an issue, as was not having a table to eat from. However we adapted to these. I did suggest to the proprietor that providing fold up TV trays and fold up chairs would enhance them. These could be stored in the wardrobe, which has heaps of room. Meals were not an issue as the hotel is right next to them and has good pub meals. at reasonable prices. We will most certainly stay there when next we are in Dunedin.

Didn't stay here, only went for a meal,which was less than average and we'll overpriced. And even worse,there was karaoke on, which we weren't told of, and there's no room to avoid it, won't be back.

Good value for the price. Our room was small and basic but clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. Heatpump kept us warm even on a very chilly night. There was only enough space for 1 chair in the room and there was no microwave or kitchen sink, but as we only stayed one night it wasn't too much of a bother. It's a great option if you're just needing a well priced place to sleep. We would stay again.

Not very often you get to stay in a hotel in your own city. Brilliant spot considering the cost. Will probably stay again!

Fluffy soft blue towels, bed and bed linen excellent.

Someone said the kettle was hard to fill from the basin sink (no kitchenette in room, just a fridge and some crockery/cutlery. No microwave)
But I just used a mug to fill it!
Not rocket science.
Shower was powerful.. Loved that.
Basin small but window sill held toiletry bag. Could do with 1 stick on hook to the left of sink to hang towel.

Excellent value for money.
Its not the ritz, but opp the beach so who wants the ritz!?!
