Just wanted to share what happened last Saturday night 9/09
We tried calling the club at 7:45pm a couple of times but couldn't get through , possibly because the music was very loud , but that's only an assumption

We then called again at 11:15pm some 3.5 hours after the first attempt to be greeted by a lady (sorry I forgot her name ) .

I had asked at what time the music is going till as it is very loud . Her reply was that she had had a couple of different ppl contact and indeed come to the club up until 10:45pm asking for the music to be turned down .

At this stage she said that they were finishing up shortly (20minutes or so )
I questioned why she continued to play the music at that level even after ppl complained and at that stage she hung the telephone up .

The music finally finished at 11:45 , 4.75 hours after it had started .

The fact other ppl are complaining and the club choosing not to do anything about it disappoints not only me but the neighbours. Very frustrating

I joined to play squash and club arvos on Sundays are growing in popularity. Bar staff and patrons are very friendly. $50 annual early bird joining fee was an amazing price, in times when everything seems to be getting more expensive. Bit dated but overall no complaints. Recommended!

Not as well patronised as it should, this club is well staffed and friendly

We were turned away because our license member 's membership was expired by 8 days.
And he built the club. I think loss of much needed money

Awesome place to go to for a retired person like myself

OMG totally recommend this place for a function. There service from the time I made the booking to end. They were always asking if everything was ok did we need anything. The food was on point to the max.

So sad to see this place.neglected as it is. Must have.been a swinging spot in its day. Had downstairs room for an private function. We were well looked after and catered for thank you.

Was damp and smelt bad downstairs with water on the floor behind closed curtains. Staff were amazing though.

Great food, staff are friendly and amazing. Love the atmosphere - hidden gem I say. Great views during the day, highly recommend for special occasions, birthdays, weddings etc. Sports bar always a hit when I go there. Highly recommend:)

Thoroughly enjoyed our delicious meals and desserts. Quick friendly service from staff. Easy to choose menu and value for money!! Look forward to our next visit here when up from Wellington. 🤩??'?
