Visiting whanau while on holiday, Stopped in for a beer ended up having lunch a most delicious 2x burger and chips meal wow I know a nice burger when I eat it.Our host very lovely .We loved her beautiful smile and conversation.We went back for dinner the next night with our Whanau.Nice to have met you all thank you.

Great nights and atmosphere. Had the steak burger but my mate attempted the full size ribs and was a big effort to finish ;)

I recently dined at " Waimate hotel" in town. I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From the moment walked in, we were greeted warmly by the hostess and shown to my table promptly.
Charlie and Maggie are wonderful and humble people.

Overall, Waimate hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of both food and atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a casual dining experience with great food and service ??'???'?

The Best food,pork rips,waimate burger,service 5star plus.was there with mate Bronson who is a local born & raised in Manaia,got to meet his whanau there awesome people,& community,very welcoming.

Had historically had great meals , but were very disappointed this time. Service normally great.
This time ! All 3 fish meals had too much batter hiding very little fish.
Curry was ordinary. Kids meals were great though.
They need to step there service back up to there normal great level.

Well cooked, and tasty food, generous portions, we recently dined here with a group of 13, we had to change 2 orders due to our initial orders being unavailable, and talking in the dining area was quite hard due to the acoustics from the bar area, all this said, I WOULD happily dine here again.

Attended my mokos 18th birthday last night. Very friendly staff,very accommodating. Wonderful meals and a ride home with their courtesy van. Very impressed.

I have been here twice for lunch meals and absolutely loved both the inside and outside environments. The menu had a fantastic selection, and food was delicious and plated well. Great place to stop at if traveling around the mountain. Also fun for two non pool players to have a go😜

Awesome surroundings and lovely staff. There were 5 of us visiting for drinks and lunch. Lunch was delivered but they forgot mine, told me it would be 2 minutes away, 10 minutes later! Very nice food and lovely people. Patrons were also very friendly. Would visit again

Enjoyed a wonderful meal and a few drinks with my partner and father in-law. The service was awesome, the vibe was chilled and the food was delicious and very worth ever dollar. We will be going back again.
