Very good old school pub. Love it here and will say if in the area, do enjoy a good beer and fire when it's a cold day in cromwell.

Had lunch here. The barman was helpful and friendly. The meals ( Especially the cod ) were to die for, hence a big shout out for the chef. Many thanks.

Very run down and a dirty old drinking hole now. Last time i was there was a lovely family restaurant. Very surprised mostly closed down execpt for dirty bar a gaming room. Yuck

Food is lovely beers always cold and the regulars are always up for a yarn great little bar. Shout out to Jan for the superb work in the kitchen

Great place to go for a drink or food, the steak was well cooked and presented. Nice atmosphere and on Wednesday nights they have a Quiz night, thoroughly enjoyed by myself and 2 work mates. Will be back next time we're in Cromwell

Just polished off an absolute pearler of a meal at the Victoria Arms Hotel. I chose the chicken snitzel with mushroom gravy, with two big meaty coated chicken breast that could near on feed a family of four, and the most perfect mushroom sauce I've ever had! Hands down cracker pub meal!

Nice place and I had a very good steak with mushrooms sauce. The atmosphere was relaxed. Service was good and the barman was very helpful.
Worth trying out particularly because the heat pumps on cold made it comfortable.
