As a tourist we had a meal here due the very affordable prices. This seems like the place the locals go to drink and have functions. Had very few tourists at the time.

Great value for money. You get free soup and a wide verity of pub food. Choice of chips or salad.

What a great old pub. We stayed in motorhome out back for the night. Enjoyed the $16 roast with free soup. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

It's what I call an old school pub. Pokies pool table and beer. Closing times are also old school, nice place for the rugby boys to stop for a beer.

The Union Hotel Carvery is like stepping back in time to the 80s. It's a beautiful thing, I got so nostalgic being an 80s kid. This was the stuff of special family dinners out, a relative coming to visit, a congratulations meal after coming 3rd in under 11s soccer league. I can only comment on the carvery, as we only stopped in for dinner. And it was everything you want it to be - huge slabs of meat, crackling, gravy, roast spuds, cabbage, corn, beans, even carrots mashed with parsnip which I wasn't allowed to leave the table until I'd finished as a kid (I finished it no problem tonight). The staff were efficient and well practiced in the art of carvery, the place is clean, the bar is right next door around the hallway and deserves its own glowing review. But for now, this is just about the carvery, and how you should experience this unfortunately dying dining style.

We have eaten there a few times now. Staff generally super friendly. The carvery is always delicious and well priced. Off the menu, the chicken was dry and the ham a huge disappointment. The decor is charmingly quaint, although some of the seats sag uncomfortably.
