I can not recommend this place highly enough. You could mistake that you were in a 5 star restaurant in the centre of Melbourne. The Lamb three ways and the beef checks were the best we have ever had. No I am not a food critic but I like great food and i would go out of my way to come back here.
Trust me you will not be disappointed

$2 Oyster Thursday's... now $3. You can easily spend a lot of money here. Extensive gin & cocktail menu and good food. It's a nice bar and always busy.

Been here twice, both times for a birthday. I LOVE their food so much!! The place and atmosphere is so perfect and very chill. Their selection of food and drinks is just perfection! Staff are also very nice and friendly! Will be back again soon~

Had a nice buzz on Tuesday and Saturday when we dined there. Great staff. Very friendly, accomadating and attentive. Food was lovely. Unfortunately, the food was served on cold plates, on both occasions, but that could be fixed?? Hence the 4 star on food. Yummy enough for sure. Loved the old photos of Petone in the decor. Felt relaxed there and a place we will return to.

Wow best steak I have had for ages. Cooked and seasoned to perfection! And a whole pot of garlic butter!! I recommend this place.

Great job on the pub's makeover and was a pleasant environment. We enjoyed our dishes. My wagyu burger was not pink (as stated on menu) and was a bit on the dry side, chips were crunchy and creamy.

My partner and I have been twice this week for goodbye drinks to workmates. Service is quick and friendly, the drink and food is great and piping hot! And the bathrooms are clean and nice. The large heater there kept the whole place warm too on such a cold day.

Got to have one of the steak meals and omg it was delicious the best cooked steak I've ever had!!!! Like the chef actually knows what a medium rare steak is. Thank you so much team. Your waiting staff were great very attentive always made sure our drinks never went empty. I loved watching the kitchen staff and them plating the dishes. I feel I had the best seat in the restaurant right in front of the kitchen.The interaction they had with each other was just amazing the 3 guys were entertaining the morale here is fabulous I loved the environment and I will most definitely be returning in the future. Thanks again team keep up the amazing work!

A great dining experience. The staff were attentive and very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. I had the wagu beef cheeseburger and chips on a brioche bun. Really tasty. The thick cut chips were perfect. Also had the chicken pate. Really nice. It was a really nice atmosphere too.
After another visit we had the striploin steak, eye fillet steak, hummus and chips

First time here and was great service the waiter and waitress were awesome but the choices of food wasn't that great. But can say we stayed to test it out.
My Husband had the eye fillet main with extra side dish, and I had the Spinach ravioli salad for my main.
My Husband said his steak was tough, my salad was soaked with too much sauce couldn't taste the spinach etc the sauce was over powering. Oysters were sooooooo Devine❤.
Expensive yes but in the Hospitality industry nowadays I do appreciate the effort they put into their business. We would come back again only because your drinks and Hospitality was Great ??'? ??'? 🙂
