Apparently the kitchen opens all day. Great portion, really loved the food. Was too cold today but would love to try the tap beers next time. Food has great tastes and the steak was very tender. Definitely recommend.

Nice place with good atmosphere, sadly food was only average at best, had the pizza and was not impressed, based was like cardboard and was very hard to bite thru and a big struggle to cut with knife and.fork. little bit.pricey for what u got sadly, always try support.local but don't think I will be returning

Sweet as spot...easy parking, enter into good size garden bar to nice open area inside, lots of space and easy access to bar. Pool tables, pokies, what looks like a decent d floor....and a corridor to the loo. Top Pub for sure.

Great food and facilities.
The airconditioning was perfect for the humidity, although outdoor area was nice. Good friendly service, although many options were unavailable after "big" Friday night attendance.

I ordered chicken mushroom sauce fettachini, the pic does not justify the creamy taste but it was a delish meal
The Ribs were a tad dry but the serving looked amazing, and would of preferred fresh salad

Everything was perfect! Great pub food, service was amazing and the location is nice and easy with plenty of parking.

The burger i had was nice, my partner got the fish but he really didn't like the batter the rest of the table was reasonably OK with their food.... but everyone agreed it was not worth the 1 hour and 40 minute wait! My dad and I had wanted the seafood chowder initially but they didn't have it. They also had no chicken.
Was great that they had a kids area although it could certainly do with a clean and maybe replace or at least remove a few broken toys.

Great, friendly staff. We called for a late lunch on the way back home to the Coromandel and weren't disappointed.

Don't often do bad reviews but.... 20 bikes turn up at 11.05am Saturday, pub is supposed to open at 11am. Hung around for 20mins, still not open. See ya.....

We've always passed this place, but never really felt the need to stop here until last weekend. I noticed ir must've recently been upgraded so we decided to stop for a beer and lunch after doing a hike at Karangahake Gorge. The food was absoluty amazing, good variety of beers and the staff were friendly too! Sure to have lunch here again sometime
