A great pub. Good beer, tasty food, and fantastic service. We had the lamb shank and filled steak. Both were great. To top it off we played pool and drank Margareta from a tea pot. We will be going back.

I've been eating here every time I'm at Christchurch. They got good specials everyday. The one I'm always getting tho is this beautiful lamb. Tastes as good as it looks.

Yummy steak, good service and large servings. There are pool tables too to play after meal. Their alcoholic drink selection is a must try as well. Great place

Lovely late breakfast on New Year's day. The sausage was especially nice, which is something I don't say often.

I come here regularly with some friends for breakfast before we all start work. The $10 breakfast special is good and I usually add a side of hash browns for $4 to top it off. For what you get, it's a pretty good deal. Customer service is a bit hit and miss, but is not too bad.

Pre-ordered lunch for mid-day on a Monday. The food was ready shortly after we arrived. Staff were friendly enough, very helpful. I ordered the Caesar salad with Salmon less the anchovies. The egg was cook nicely just how it should be, still a lil yolky Yum 😋 Salad was fresh and tasty with delicious lil crusty bread bits. My lunch date had the Nachoes with the beef and said it was one of the tastiest he had eaten. He ordered 2x extra sour cream on top of what was supplied plus some sweet chili sauce.

Don't waste your time trying the breakfast promotions.
I would pay double and get a decent meal, rather than the food they are trying to pass off as a special.
Disappointed and won't be back in a hurry.
I did let the cashier know before I paid that the food was disappointing,was offered a complimentary drink but gracefully declined.
The manager on duty didn't seem to be interested in patrons waiting to pay nor offer any assistance.
Overall disappointing experience.

I rated this place a 5 but I've gotta put it out there. The customer service from the Thai Woman is absolutely unacceptable! We used to come in quite a bit and I rated her customer service at a high level. Dunno what's happened? But the vibe from her body language made us feel unwelcome to a tee. No smile, slamming forks/knives on the table like just really cold vibes, didn't even acknowledge my child and take his order😳. We're all for supporting local and the food is really good but I hope next time we come, sorry I don't wanna be served by her. The Asian guy with the glasses, ka pai to him because he was lovely and served our group well.

We came back with a family group last night and our waiter and waitress did an excellent job serving our group. Please let them know, they did an excellent job and appreciate their service. The young man with the accent and the young woman who was on serving, sorry don't know their names but keep up the good work it'll be people like them who will keep us coming back & because of them my rating goes back up plus meals again were really delicious as usual as well my frozen strawberry daiquiri 😋??'?🏾⭐

I've been having my breakfast here for more than 3 years and almost every morning. Brought my mates and co- workers with me too. There were thing like some of the staff treating us like we were there to have free food and overcharging the food sometimes but we never complained. But today the most disgusting thing happened to me in a restaurant. I ordered the usual breakfast and figured out the bread was covered in mold after eating half of the meal as the other piece of bread was covered in eggs and I couldn't see it. And then as I started eating the other piece of bread I saw the bread was covered in mold and wanted to throw up on the spot. I have a very sensitive stomach. I've been feeling sick since the time I saw what I was eating. How come they haven't seen the bread when they were serving eggs? How come you guys been this careless. Now I don't even know what we've been eating for the past 3 years. I've been sick the whole day today. Thank you once again. I'll never see you guys ever again. Not a chance. This is utterly disgusting.
