The place is a humble, cheap, clean and friendly family owned business. The hosts, Emma and Sooty, are positive and accommodating, with the cutest supervisor Mimi on board to help anyone with anything. There's great, affordable food and drink next door with the added bonus of complimentary drink vouchers on arrival. WOW!! Will definitely stay again, thanks team.

Stay here if you dont want to shower or sleep!!! I arrived at 10pm after 5 hours travel, no hot water, not even warm so no shower. The 'kitchen' window had no blind or curtain so, thanks to the 3 10000 watt light bulbs outside, the light shone in and bounced off the white walls lighting the room up. (Room 45)
Next morning tried the shower again, oh yes hot, wait, cold, no hot, no cold again but it didn't matter as the pressure was so pathetic I had to dance around to try and get wet, eventually gave up and my legs weren't even wet - thank god I didn't need to wash my hair - I'd still be there a week later rinsing!
Internet said I was connected but wouldn't load any page that I tried, so work went out the window too.

A homley meal. A bit confused on salad bar. Got half a chicken on a board some roast veg. No potatoes?😄. Pasta very good. Very busy. Dark . Went for meal only

Pretty good location, nice and quiet. Price is good. Biiiig rooms, and pretty good facilities such as bar etc. The only thing wrong is the Internet connection is extremely slow. And the signage out on the road might benefit from an update. The main entrance has a massive FUNCTION CENTRE with a small 340 right down the bottom. The actual signs are further along the road with an arrow pointing down the side road.

Still very comfy, and being able to get accommodation on short notice was great. :)

Not a nice place to stay. Drunks trying to get into my room. Very noisy. Very unsettling. Not able to sleep. Didn't feel safe. No staff around. No after hours phone number. Very unsettling. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE.

A very nice place to stay in Christchurch with reasonable price. The room is really clean with full range of facilities and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Great owner! He helped us while our car broke down in the car park. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Staff friendly in the bar. Band playing was bloody awesome. Crowd was really good. Felt like a well organized and safe event. Plenty of easy parking, well lit. Was a really good night the other night guys with the band Old Skool playing thanks so much best night in ages! Will be back

This is our place to stay when in Christchurch. Great value for money, the staff are absolutely FANTASTIC, food is great. Rooms have all been clean, Easy parking, great rooms for couples and for families, even our Grandkids have stayed here with us, Close to Northlands mall and did I mention the fantastic staff!

The people here were magnificent. They gave us our previous room which we have had 3 times now. Perfectly suitable room with all amenities necessary. It is our hotel of choice whenever we have to come to Christchurch. P.S. The friendly cat's name is Google!

Stopped for dinner at 6pm. Heaps of parking and w e got close to the back door which was a little bit of a guessing game but we followed the short path and the door opened. We booked for 8 at 6.00pm and there was our table ready. Our meals ordered and taken by the waitress. Sweet wee thing with a pleasant smile and nice attitude. Our meals came about 40 mins later by then, the place was full and humming. Meals came out and we nearly died. They were huge. Fought to finish mine which was pan fried fish with duck fat cooked potatoes. OMG to die for. We had to go and get our own salads which was easy and a simple selection. Devine evening and so dam cheap we queried we'd paid for 2 meals. Well done. We'll be back very soon with others to share your menu. Pudd was cancelled.

friendly staff, the room was okay, loud heater and fridge. we had a room close to the road so the wifi was barely useable and my data was also barely usable on 3G so if having a good internet connection is important to you maybe request a room closer to reception or find another hotel

Great overnight stay close to airport at a great price and location. Meals were awesome and cheap too

It's been changed inside different from when I was last there. It's very good now with a small seating area for lunch and dinner not sure for breakfast. But had a great meal great service from the bar. Food what I ordered was great. Be going back again as I live close by
