This restaurant can do no wrong. perfect design, amazing food, and just an awesome vibe. This place is my go-to when I am having a bad day because it is consistently quality food.

There's a great selection of food and beverages at this venue, the atmosphere, pretty friendly staff too. There's a small parking lot next to the Pickle Jar, plus some more free parking located on the street in front.

Sometimes, local pubs are a bit hit and miss. I visited here maybe 10 months ago and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. My most recent visit - not so much. The service was good, attentive, and quick, but the food was very average. I don't think we'll return.

Come here all the time and really enjoyed the food, but they have recently changed the menu. Would be great if they could bring back the burgers that my partner and I always got: the Hawaiian chick and the pickled cheese. Classics that were filling and brought us frequently into the place, not too sure about the new options.

Very nice pub with a nice relaxed atmosphere, their menu highlighted 1metre & 500mm long pizzas. We had the 500mm & with 3 different flavours included we had a great lunch with crisp fries & drinks.
The staff were very helpful & friendly making our visit very enjoyable.
With family in the Karori area, The Pickle Jar is the place we will see again.

An absolute must if you like Hot Wings. The hot aren't really very hot but absolutely delicious. Plus you can add Carolina reaper sauce if you want to spice it up which I highly recommend. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and tidy pub.

Great atmosphere and awesome staff. The pizza was delicious and service was fast. Also good value! Watched the rugby here and had a fantastic time. Definitely will come again

Popped in here after a trail run with some mates as it was very conveniently located and we got a Pickle Jar Breakfast each. Sausages were great, black pudding was decent, hash brown was perfect and I really want to know what bacon they use! 10/10, will be back! I was also saying that somehow the roasted tomato was good despite never liking these, also the fact it wasn't thermonuclear was nice

Fantastic mothers day brunch today. The food is amazing and totally yummy. Staff are friendly and give Fantastic service. And oh my God their burgers are out of this world. 5 stars.

Every time I come here I get the same thing - the Pickled Cheeseburger - really need to broaden my horizons but it's just soooo good! Best burger I've ever had, anywhere. (Big talk!)

Love this place.

Ordered the buffalo hot wings and chips & dip. Cooked perfectly. Wings were crispy and coated with a perfect amount of sauce. A nice heat from the spiciness too. Chips were crunchy, golden brown and light and fluffy, and the dipping sauce was a great flavour.

Will definitely be back again.
