Great vibes, great outdoor area with a heater which is great in the cold (also sheltered from the rain which is brilliant) amazing food and menu, drinks are a good price but need to work on the customer service skills.

I can't speak for the food at all because I didn't have any, but as a bar I really like it, very "local" feel to the place, everyone kind of acts like they know each other even when they don't, the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful and extremely polite about last call, and the little fire outside in the courtyard makes it ideal for any smokers even over Wellington's windy winters. Highly recommend if your new to Newtown and hoping to meet some nice people.

Great bar to have a quiet beer and just sit down and watch a bit of sport. Only thing that sucks is they only put sound on for rugby. If you like football there is no sound. 😂 but hey this is New Zealand. They are not into football. They have good bar food as well to have with the beer you are drinking. Also the staff working here are very good and give good service.
