Very quite and a little dilapidated however friendly staff and service
We had a few beers and watches warriors v bulldogs. Great atmosphere given there was only a handful of locals support.
It appears the days of the good old kiwi country pubs are a distant memory of our past..sad but true.
I'd have another pint whilst in that area again ☝️

Kaipara tavern was amazing, great food and service and atmosphere. I recommend strongly as a place to eat.

The poor person behind the bar was by herself and was clearly not a cook. The food was very very underwhelming and took 35 mins to arrive evne though it wasn't at all busy. It was missing ingredients stated in the menu and they were very small portions. Very poor service but the bar person did her best considering they were clearly lacking staff. They need an actual chef and more staff.

Awesome friendly service, generous servings of great food. Cheap food and pints, absolutely stoked to have moved down the road to find this excellent little local. Wicked cool outdoor area and pool tables available also. Well worth stopping in!
