Great rooms.. service and restaurant was amazing. Interesting clashing style with the anesthetic and the artwork. Service stood out so nothing else really matters yeah. Great place.

I choose this place because I loved how it had a bar and restaurant which was great. I recommend the big breakfast, the mushrooms were fab. There's scaffolding around the building which isn't mentioned but hey it didn't alter our amazing stay. The beds are super comfy and the Hotel is super warm. The staff are so lovely, we'll be back.

I didn't stay but my friend did and loved his room. We shared a platter between 2 of us and it hit the spot. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was spacious and aloud us to have a really good catch up. I'll be back in the future.

Standard room was spacious, good lighting. Shower was old but great pressure and very hot.

Had the most beautiful, tastey, "Grosvenor Chicken" with mushroom sauce. 🍄 had small, meal, struggled to get through it. My husband had roast of the day. He had large, was huge but excellent. Waitress awesome friendly, helpful. Great value, prices very reasonable. Would highly recommend ??'?

Arrived a little late and a lock box and keys had been provided. Couldn't understand the directions through intercom very rattling and indecipherable. Room upgrade well...I hate to think what the first one looked like. Smelt strongly of 🚬 mold around doors.

This hotel is undergoing renovation at the moment. Our bathroom had been updated but the bedroom featured very old stained cupboards and a bed that sagged in the middle. The lift is worth a photo for the antique value. Wifi was non-existent. Car park is first come first served opposite the entrance. Staff were very friendly - gaining the hotel two stars. Avoid for a few months until the hotel is refurbished and the building work comes to an end.

It could have been a pleasant afternoon - but was spoilt by the inexplicably rude service. When we went to pay, the waitress did not provide a receipt. When we asked for one, her manner was hostile, and she insisted the amount charged was correct. She read back our order correctly, but a receipt was only provided upon our insistence. The receipt showed we had actually been overcharged for an extra two glasses of wine. I know mistakes can happen, but why did the order she read out from the till not match the receipt? A refund was given, begrudgingly. Her customer service skills were really inappropriate. I would not recommend this place at all.

First of all, apologies for a late review. October 2018. Room was clean, bed was comfy. My dog was welcomed as much as I was. Great location and parking was easy. Staff were helpful. I'll be back soon....ish.

Nice suite, decent view. Close to the train station.

The place is a bit shabby but is being renovated. But saying that the rooms where clean and we'll maintained with a comfortable bed, shower over a bathtub. Ideally situated in the middle of town. I was more than happy with my stay

Very old hotel and rooms are not exactly as shown on their website. Very disappointing. Its staff are pretty kind though.

Old but clean. Nosiy heater and no heatpump. Not good for hot summer. Heater is not automatic so if too hot I ned to turn it off. Good shower.
