Great place to watch games with easy reservation via Google. Fun and funky aesthetic with great wings and overall really great food (garlic bread was wonderful). Limited options for vegetarians and the less adventurous. Service was warm and welcoming, but a little stretched on a busy evening. Recommend!

Great service - the wait staff was very attentive. There was a quiz on but they had another section of the resturant where we could sit where it was quieter. We got the steak. The steak was tasty (I like mine well done and my hubby likes his rare - they nailed both of them). The let down would be the mash as it had too much going on. Plain mash would've been a better option I believe.

Efficient service, good staff, delicious hot stew on a wet day! Classic boisterous pub. Great place to unwind after work with colleagues if you're after a beer and unpretentious comfort food.

Very funny and unpleasant experience.
First of all it's not an Irish pub. Well, not having Guinness on tap is not an Irish thing...

We just took our sit and girl said: "Please put you order now because our chef wants to go on a break"... seriously???

Secondly, ordered pizza... regret! It's just a pizza from PakNSave for 27 bucks...
On top we were even not given plates! What?????
Apparently chef was in a hurry so he didn't even make an effort to slice our pizza.

I hope owners read reviews and take some actions...

For anyone reading this, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! More better sport around.

Delicious food all round.
Steak and chips with mushroom sauce which was perfectly seasoned
Chicken burger was full of flavour with perfectly crispy batter
Korean pork belly bites were saucy and the snack portion was a generous serving.
All round great meals and I would definitely go back.

Stopped in for a bite while our ship was in port ... had a couple Wellington brews & split the chicken sandwich. Food & beverages were great & the service as well.
As if that wasn't enough, they had American football on the TV ... it was midday Friday & we were watching Tampa vs Baltimore on Thursday Night Football 😉

Loved the food. We were a group of seven and the food came out at the same time. Great waiting staff. Only four stars due to the mask wearing of the staff.

Definately a place with some character, the staff were great, the food and drinks were very nice. At first I got worried about eating a pink chicken burger but then realised it was just the seasoning. It's definitely a hot spot and local spot, keep up the great work

Had a great experience overall. had steak and chips as it was their special that night. Beautifully cooked. Had the mushroom sauce which had mushrooms in it and was yummy. They make a fantastic margherita here. Decent. Will come back for that and the relaxed vibe. Enjoyed the funky decor.

Great Irish Pub in the heart of Wellington.
While we didn't have lunch, they have a great selection.
Service was very good.
Have daily specials, the day we went was 2 4 1cocktails, awesome!!

I wasn't going to bother with this review, but they asked so here it is.
An average experience, with food that needed more love, especially as it wasn't exactly busy. The 'blooming garlic bread' is gimmicky and awkward to eat, and was dry and overcooked. Her steak was more medium-rare than rare, and my fried chicken was okay but lacking the crispiness I would expect with the word 'fried' in the menu description. I accept these are First-world problems, but it's disappointing because the only other people there already had their food. Assuming the kitchen wasn't rushed off their feet, why then could our meals not be shown a little more care by people paid to do so?
It was also disappointing that after 10mins the dirty dishes weren't cleared, and I did it myself. If this place can't cope when it's empty at 7pm on a Saturday night, how do they manage if they're busy?
We earlier had our dessert orders sussed, but by then we were over it and just checked out.
