Went for a birthday for a friend, was my first time there. The food, decor and the atmosphere were great. I think I had the pasta of the week, which was chicken in a creamy sauce.

The staff were super friendly and we didn't have to wait very long for the food.

Seafood Chowder is the bomb says hubby!!!!! It's a must try !

Had a small party birthday celebration there. Very nice. Great little place. Food was yummy and the drinks were yum too.

Food and service were great! However, cleanliness poor... floors were sticky (carpets need a good deep clean), most areas I happened to rest my arms (inside and outside) were uncleaned and sticky, and as I looked up in the bathroom, I noticed very thick dust in the air vents. Disappointed on a Sat night dinner that rugby was playing rather than music, but that's probably just me!

They have a big portion of tasty food. Staffs are professional and nice as well. Place is cozy and clean.

Nice atmosphere and the staff and cooks were very friendly. Came here for the Thursday $20 steak night and it was absolutely great! The $20 steak meal includes fries and salad with your choice of sauce. I recommend this for a nice little dinner out during the week.

I stand by my previous comments, its a great pub and the staff are really awesome, some of the best in Auckland but what has happened to the food? They used to serve awesome food now its ridiculously bad. The tacos used to be amazing with fresh ingredients that popped like a taco should. Now its meat in sweet packet sauce with a dollop of coleslaw. The pizza we had last night was ridiculous, base not
cooked, more cheese than a bunch of dad jokes that literally fell off because the base was so soggy.

Such a shame because this placed used to kill it with food. Ill be back for the beer and the staff but I'll be popping out for a feed somewhere else.

They've got good Supercharger Panhead & good Guinness on tap. The staff are super friendly and the tacos (used to be) awesome. What more can you say?

Came here for a fundraiser pub quiz night and enjoyed the experience. They have a $20 rib night on Mondays and that was pretty good. I enjoyed the fact that it filled me up but didn't make me feel gross like so many other meals at pubs. The quiz was good, though it did run a bit long.

You know, some of the really important things about a "Home" are that it's there when you need it, it's comfortable and comes with really good food and company.
So it is with these folk - it's a well named spot for a regular visit; especially when you want to join some enthusiastic supporters to watch a big ABs game or BC match!

Had a dinner with a promotion of $20 scotch fillet, so yum! But the pork belly tacos are salty, not recommended. Chocolate brownie is hard not chewy. Service is good, checking on us how are we doing but the servers did not bother to get our vaccine pass.
Overall good experience but not the best dine.
