I have been a long time fan of Fringe bar and recently held my 21st Birthday there and it was literally better than I could have ever dreamed. The fringe team was all wonderfully easy to work and coordinate with. Communication, coordination and organization with management was absolutely top tier. Bar tending staff were also so much fun and made amazing drinks (I cannot recommend their cocktails and mocktails enough). The atmosphere was friendly and fantastic. The quality of the venue in terms of appearance, sound quality, cleanliness, lights, and overall atmosphere was incredible as always. I just cannot recommend Fringe Bar to people for their events enough! Also your food was so delicious. Everyone at the party told me it was the nicest event they had been to, with many comparing it to school balls but saying it was better than any of them. This literally meant the world to me and I really owe it to all of you.

Able to cater for that small romantic dinner for 2, or for your local indoor cricket team out for some fun.
I have to mention the hard working, knowledgeable amazing team that work here most definitely a true attribute to the Fringe bar.

We ordered a pint each and then 5 minutes later we were told we could only be in the smokers area, since there was a show going on. There was no warning this was going to happen when we ordered.

Didn't really appreciate being kicked out into the cold and I most likely won't be going back.

A fabulous venue. Went on a Monday night for their "Raw Meat" show. A great section of comics. While they weren't all my cup of tea (my humor is weird 😅), there was something for everyone's humor. Everyone in the audience seemed to be really enjoying themselves. And I would absolutely come back again, on my next Wellington trip. Great ticket price (available at the door) and reasonable priced drinks. Would definitely recommend.

Really cool experience! The bar was great, drinks were delicious and fairly priced. The staff were friendly. We watched a comedy show, Club Sandwich. It was our first time at a comedy show but we really loved it! We were seated right at the front near the stage at a table. The comedians were great!

Great service, excellent atmosphere. Would be 5 stars however Justin wouldn't stop doing kareoke and he sucks. Every fourth song he would be up there. Let someone else sing for once. Smdh. Go home justin your ex wife wants you paying your child support not singing at a kareoke bar.

Love this place. Staff are always amazing and efficient. Do a bit of stand-up comedy here and is one of my favorite places to perform.

Was there on monday for "raw meat" comedy night. Every monday 8pm for a good couple of hours. Get yourself a drink and support the comedians 8 or 9 in an evening each having a slot. 9,00 entry on line or ten bucks at the door. You will get great entertainment for that price.

I've been to fringe bar a couple of times now - I love Karaoke so it's a go to on the rare occasion I go out. Halloween weekend I had an amazing server (even though it was crazy hectic) and then again this Thursday I was there and I saw them again and managed to get their name. Massive shout out to Kyra, such great service no matter what and always makes me feel valued as a customer. Props to Kyra, keep doing what you're doing!

While the Fringe bar is cute and quirky and a fun experience, it's not very accessible. The show we went to see was excellent. I'm just sure it would've been much more enjoyable if we could see half the acts obscured by people's heads as the audience set up isn't great.
Really hard workers, really great artists doing as well as they can with what the space allows.

went to femmes and thems this friday, was definitely a culture shock to say the least, quite different from my conservative views but always love to see the other side. Was a lovely time with the kid and ex wife

As a part of sperm donation world tour i visited a comedy night here, luckily none of the comedians recognised who I was, otherwise could of been on the recieving end of a few jokes and also went on the saturday night, both nights good fun and decent venue.

Brilliant staff, being from out of town we always try and find great places to enjoy our night.

The worst bar staff in Wellington. Definitely don't care about making any money especially during these times. Feel sorry for the owners. Definitely won't be back and won't be recommending
