Good little venue and manager was nice but the bar maid was rude and giving us unwelcoming looks when we entered the bar. She was loudly discussing our requests saying they could not be met, which was fine if they could not accommodate but have the decency to discuss them in a private matter, not in the middle of the bar for everyone else to hear. She was very unprofessional!!

They have a good selection beers on tap. Local favorites like waikato draught, red lion, speights. Good prices for beer. Lots of slot machines in the back and a TAB machine in the front. A few people are there pretty regularly and seem pretty friendly. The bartenders are friendly and competent.
