We have never been here before, but we ordered tonight for delivery. The food arrived on schedule and was very nice. Our family ordered the meat platter, steak & eggs, nachos, and chicken nuggets & chips.
My son did complain that the chips in his nachos were a bit soggy, but that would be due to having it delivered.
We really enjoyed the meat platter, which says it is suitable for 3-5 people. We think it would definitely be closer to 3 people unless you had other things to eat or were small/light eaters. The ribs were voted the best item in the platter.
Chicken nuggets & chips were pretty standard, and the steak & eggs were delicious. We were watching Kitchen Nightmares while eating our dinner, so we were potentially more likely to be critical of what we were eating - but it was delicious, and we were very pleased with it.

The food is very tasty! I enjoyed everything I ordered, and the staff were friendly 😊

It did feel a bit overpriced though. I had the babe sliders, stuffed chicken and mud cake, the order total was $70.60.

Came here on Tuesday Rib night. Staff was accommodating and gave us a well lit spot! We got the ribs (of course), Margherita pizza, mussel pot, special beef curry and kids nuggets and pizza. Servings were generous and the fries were a highlight at the table! Coconut curry sauce for the mussels was a bit bland. Overall a great place to come for a family din! Thank you!

Went there for dinner and Karaoke. Great food, service and vibe. Amazing portion size too ??'?🏼 highly recommend the Risotto and Chicken Parmigiana.

The Cream Mussels suits for more than 2 person, if being marked on the menu would be better for customer to choose. The environment is tidy and location is easy to find.

Went for work lunch. Burger wad nice. Atmosphere very much like English country pub. Parking right outside. Food took a little while, probably not expecting a group.

We had our second Xmas function at the Albany Pub and had a great time of it too! 14 people and we had plenty of space and lots of entertainment to keep us occupied. Also one of the few pubs that have Stella Artois on tap.

Staff were very friendly and attentive. Meals were hearty and very well presented. Hadn't been in for a long time so was pleased to see a great expansion menu. We'll definitely be back.

I like that this pub is in two halves, one a bit more rowdy bar for adults and one more quiet and peaceful restaurant for families. I come for both depending on requirements. Food is usually very good and there is an excellent selection of beers on tap.

Cosy, friendly staff, food was excellent, very generous portions, fresh and tasty. We had the fish & chips, ribs, pork belly and pizza and everyone thoroughly enjoyed 😉

We live very close to this pub and go there quiet often mainly for the food (lamb shanks yummyyyy and $20 steak nights) pool company on Wednesday nights are awesome good bunch of friendly people,made many friends.
Occasionally take my kids to the restaurant they love the food and like playing pool after(the owner also has a small cue for the kids and let's them play for free)
Highly recommended to visit at least once,best time to visit with kids would be weekends.

Found hair in dish, owner still tried to charge the fee.

I marked this restaurant 5 out of 5 in Zomato back in year 2019, it was our favorite restaurant until today. Not sure what's going on- maybe owner changed? ? ?

We shared two plates today- Surf n Turf ($37.5) and special Ribs ($20), food was average, Surf n turf is no longer the same dish (see two photos). I found blonde HAIR in my dish, didn't feel like to eat the rest (more than half left), young waitress offered me a free drink- I refused. She went to see 'manager' then came back said offering a drink is all they can do, and she is just a waitress cannot do much... I refused again. Another girl went to see another 'manager', end with we paid for Steak $37.5, Rib $20 was waived. No apology from restaurant.

Hey my question to the Albany owner/management:
1. You tried twice to offer me free drink, and expecting me to pay for the food with hair, that I don't like to eat?
2. No apology from management, (only the little waitress apologized once when I showed the hair) is this acceptable/ standard for your business?
3. the back Chef looks like the 'manager' who refused to waive the hair dish, but I never got a chance to talk to the 'manager', who didn't step up to talk to customer and solve customer complaints , but push teenager waitress ahead.

Overall very disappointing, prob it's not the same the Albany I liked before.

good ambience , great food and very friendly people. The Brisket was out of this world. So juicy and delicious.
