Our local. Normally OK. Missed the mark on the beef burger this time. Food is as expected for a pub. The daily food special is a great draw card.

Awesome place to ride down to, parking right out front for the bikes. food was so good Seafood basket was pretty big, value for $ nice friendly staff. Their bathroom facilities are amazingly clean and well kept, keep up the awesome work.

Great sports pub, awesome food options with TAB and pool tables. Service is above standard. It's good having it out of the city but it is away from other pubs for any pub crawls. Lots of venue area too.

We held our son's 21st here and cannot speak more highly of the staff and service. They handled the event with exceptional expertise. Food and drinks are well priced and they helped make it a night for our family and friends to remember.

They do Macs Cloudy Apple Cider on tap which wins me over. The menu is great, enjoyed my wedges. Also, unsure if a regular but there was a beautiful dog outside that everyone enjoyed playing fetch with which obviously made the vibe of the bar ten times better. A bit of a travel to get to from in town, but the above makes it worth it.

Just had my 21st here and it was absolutely amazing! Tia was working the bar and she and the rest of the team made sure the night was fantastic. Super cool people and the best vibe

It was such an amazing experience, being surrounded by irreplaceable memorabilia. Met a devoted patron named Nigel, & he graciously introduced himself to my husband & I. Then he provided us with menu's, & what the Tavern provides during the week. But most of all, the reassurance that they do not tolerate any derogatory gestures or inappropriate behaviour towards any woman! We definitely look forward to going back their for lunch or dinner, & if your in NO state to drive, they also provide a sober driver, to drive you & your car home, safely! Who else does this?

I came here twice the atmosphere is pleasant for a pub and the service is friendly.

The ribs are very tasty with just there right amount of sauce and the scotch fillet steak is also good unfortunately I didn't realize it came with kumara fries which I'm not a fan of.

So if your looking for a decent meal and friendly company try coming here.

Had a wonderful night at the tav, had a waitress named Jemma (hope I spelt it right) who was lovely, she had an amazing sense of humour, had a good chat with the whole group of us and always had a smile on her face 10/10 rating hands down, will definitely be back!

I don't know what it is that draws us back to this place but it's our fourth time using the up stair venue. 3 birthdays and after wedding function. Great bar staff. Great atmosphere. Every time.

Absolutely enjoyed our lunch date out with a couple good friends. The shared lunch meals 🤤 the battered seafood dish, pork belly bites, crispy chicken nibbles doused in bbq sauce to top it off. The Garlic bread 🥰🤤 soo light. Bloody marvelous I must say. Well priced, Excellent, friendly service. Highly recommended ??'? well done.
