Great food, great atmosphere and great staff

Best strawberry daiquiri I've ever had in my life. Food was good, service was fab and it's just a really nice place.

Good beer, reasonably priced meals, and a fantastic atmosphere. Heaps of parking outside. why bother going into town?

Absolutely awesome place to go.
We were in a very large group to celebrate a 50th birthday.
The meals came out quickly and were delicious. My husband and I shared a garlic loaf & prawns in a bucket and we both had the Beef Wellington. They were also great value!
The best thing was the service, it was without a doubt top notch, very friendly & nothing was a problem.
In fact we enjoyed the food so much, we went back for brunch the next day!
We will most definitely be back next time we are in town.

I love the Tavern but last night the price shocked me. It used to be affordable, now $30 for a Rib Eye steak that was so thin and small and $17 for a cider. $102 for 2 meals 2 drinks and one desert. Very disappointing that I have to look elsewhere for another affordable restaurant.

I dine at Tavern Harewood most Thursdays with a friend. The food is always delicious and ample servings. But, the best part if dining there is the staff. They are so welcoming and friendly it's a joy to eat there.
As well the chefs work really hard and meals appear very quickly - no wait for a plate-. I would recommend anybody to eat at this great venue. Julie Power

We just turned up and the place was fully booked but they offered us a table in the bar area. We ordered the Wednesday special chicken schnitzel and a beef schnitzel. They were delicious and a good size, the food was delivered to our table in time.

The best steak sandwich I have had for a very long time! And at a great price too. The service was great as well. I will be back.

We ordered our meals while we waited for our family to arrive, our families food came out before ours, so did the table next to us who ordered 30 minutes after we ordered. When asked if we could find out what's happening with our food, we were told "chef handover". Partner and I sat here watching everyone eat their food who ordered at least 30 minutes after us. Service has gone so down hill, wait times are ridiculous and unorganised.

The food was amazing but the service was not. We were told 45 minutes wait for the meal which was fine but no drinks offered at all. Entree arrived on time but waited another 30 minutes, mains arrived and put on top of entree dishes as there were no room on table. Such a shame as normally great service. Sorry didn't think to take photos.

Good deal on a Friday night with the Bosses shout. Free hamburgers nice. Guinness is pretty good as well. Right temperature. Staff always very helpful and good mannered which is quite rare these days in the hospitality industry.

Our whole experience was well worth it. Very busy when we went but the service was not slow. Because of being busy at the time we were there you needed to not mind the noise.

The manager Rob is a gentleman with great customer service and always looks after my little boy with a high chair when going for lunch. I love the open pork sandwich and the Guinness isn't bad either but at $13 a pint is very steep it's more expensive than temple bar in Dublin!( the most expensive in Ireland) I'm sorry I didn't ask price first.

I had the chicken burger and my wife had the steak sandwich and we shared the wontons. Absolutely delicious food. My only complaint is that the chicken only covered half the burger. HOWEVER such tender meat perfectly cooked, great tasting sauces.... We will definitely be back!

First visit to the Harewood Tavern for dinner last night. The food was amazing tasty, well presented huge portions and very affordable. Lovely helpful staff as well as a good atmosphere. Will definitely return.

We visited on Saturday evening with our grandparents at 6:30pm. The ice cream spiders were amazing, the service was brilliant. Attentive staff throughout the whole dining process. The meals were hot, tasty and a great size. Many thanks for a wonderful evening, we will be back soon.
