I ordered the surf n turf to takeaway. I ordered a rare steak cos i knew by the time i got it home it wld be medium rare. My meal was outstanding. Highly recommend.

Great ribeye steak, cooked to perfection. Not a fan of the rocket, reddish and celery salad though as it has 3 things I hate in it. Very quiet on the Tuesday I went. Only me and a table of guys

Hired the function room which came with dirty tables and sticky floors to start with. No bar use and had to go all the way to the other bar for drinks. They locked the back door which am pretty sure wad the fire exit door. Wouldn't go back

Enjoyed an evening at the Tavern Friday for a meal and to watch Crusaders, despite being opposition supporters staff were very obliging sitting us near a TV, it was very busy and our meals were served within 15 minutes, which we all enjoyed.

It looked shabby and needed a good clean.crumbs on chairs and the floor tables needed a good clean. Bar person was wiping her nose with her hand and continuing to handle drinks etc

Went in for dinner with my husband, daughter and her partner.
We ordered the $60 platter thinking that would be plenty for the 4 of us, how very wrong we were! (Hand beside platter for size reference) We asked for the salad to be swapped out for some fish bites, we got 3! The meal was tiny and definitely not worth the $60 we paid! Unfortunately no-one seemed to care except for the bar lady who was the only pleasant encounter we had during our whole visit

Went for dinner here last night.... two of the adult mains not great, kids cheeseburger was the best out of all the meals also turned down for a alcohol beverage as they said I was under the influence. But as I tried explaining my new teeth was not helping my speech and for that the people I was with wasn't even aloud a drink. So coke it was.... not the 1st time bad experience went a couple weeks back at 10pm stood there for neally 5 mins then got told no more drinks were getting served while the bar was full of patrons drinking.

Please don't bother, terrible customer service from the managers. Over an hours wait time for food with no compensation.. and the food is pricey enough as it is. Place needs a serious up do, several lights not working and or flickering in the restaurant. I've even heard they over charge for drinks when they want to be sneaky. How is this place still running like this?

I ordered a jug and the women serving me walk away without saying anything. I waited 5 minutes and she didn't come back so I left. Horrible customer service

If I could give it no stars I would.
Ordered the Monday special of buy one get on free burgers, only to be told they had sold out. Really. Only four other people in the whole place and none of them had burgers. We could however have them at full price.
We choose the Blue Cod ones. They were horrible.
Bun almost burnt and very stale. Egg like rubber and no tomato relish. Just a slice of tomato. Horrible.
Service was rude and unfriendly.
Definitely won't be back.

Fantastic meals, fresh & cooked to perfection. The Weiner Schnitzel was huge with a tasty salad & great chips. The chicken, mushroom pasta was one of best I have tasted. The garlic cheese bread was very nice too. It would have been nice to have the fire going, which I'm sure would have lured the crowds in. Well done guys.
