Somewhat disappointed to find three different versions of the menu with different pricing on each and some options not available that are on the menu on the website. Please take some time to update your online menus (First Table & Website). Food was nice although no table service once meals were dropped and for a large group, meals came out delayed and at different times.

Really enjoyed my experience here. Staff were friendly and very accommodating when we wanted photos taken. Atmosphere was amazing. Food was delicious. Everyone at our table was really happy with their food. All said we would definitely come back again. A++++

Lunchtime Sunday. I can't tell you what the food was like because when it still didn't arrive after 1.5 hours we asked for a refund and went and got fish n chips in town. It appeared to be absolutely chaotic, with tables of large groups who came in ages after us getting their food while people who ordered their food around the same time as us went hungry. They did comp us one of our drinks and we were grateful for that, but it was all round a diabolical experience. I see lots of other reviews from people who waited as long as us going back months, so it seems like it's an ongoing management issue with not enough staff. I think they lost our docket as well, because they couldn't find it when I went up for a refund and I had to tell them what we ordered. Don't believe the 5 star reviews, folks.

I could tell completely under staffed, which certainly did not help the service or lack of. Food VERY underwhelming. I left my plate, and my friend could not get her knife through the steak served on her Thai beef salad. Went to pay and no record of our table, had to rely we were being truthful, not the best way to run a business. The staff were friendly.

Usually liked coming here until one day I went to get a cider at the bar. They took my drivers licence behind the bar and were acting shady. My husband and I asked what the problem was to which no one responded till finally someone said that they were comparing my drivers licence to their drivers license because mine did not seem authentic. It's been my licence card since 2014 and never once have I had a problem with it. I was mortified with how they treated us so we cancelled our food and left. I will never be going back. Not usually one to complain but I didn't appreciate being treated like a common criminal on our Sunday lunch.

Great place here in the heart of the Industrial area of Rolleston. Tastefully decorated. Staff very friendly and helpful, food was really nice. Dishes consumed were battered blue cod and Haloumi salad. Will definitely be back to try something else.

Went out for dinner here last night and the food was disgusting. I had the Tai beef salad and there was no seasoning AT ALL. The beef was just beef 🥩 no taste. The dressing was just plain oil. Got a plate of chicken wings and what ever they put over them tasted like dish washing liquid. Avoid at all cost.

Lots of parking to start a trip to the pub is always a good start. We showed up unbeknownst to us to early but they got us in and seated anyway. Took our orders and everything went well. Look forward to another trip. Another gem of an establishment here in Rolleston.

Food was great! We were visiting from America and had a party of 8 upstairs. The server let us know the quiz was going on that night and service would be slow. Our food was just what we ordered and really good but the team was short staffed and didn't come back for drink orders or to bring the tab after our meal. Still recommend since the food was so good.

Went here for lunch and the Food was real good value for money, and cooked by the chef perfectly. The reason for my below average rating was the service, or lack of. The staff were too busy worrying about when they were going to get there next Woodstock or Smirnoff in, and yes we went in for lunch. I try to always leave praise in my reviews knowing how hard our hospitality staff work with probably very little praise, however the service was extremely poor. We were barely greeted when we walked in (too busy talking) and it was like we had just wrecked there day by being there 🙁. Won't be back in a hurry.

Great atmosphere, but food was terrible. We had seafood chowder but it was more like fish poached in milk definitely not a chowder. Disappointing as have had good food in the past . With the cost of living being so high I won't return as it was expensive then to be yuck is a total put off

I would not rate this restaurant at all. When we walked in instead of being seated the lady just pointed to our table and snapped at my partner when he went to the wrong table. The waitress didn't give us enough time to look at menus we felt rushed and they were staring at us, waiting for us to leave an hour before closing. My partner got really bad food poisoning from his fish and commented it tasted tangy! Fried fish shouldn't taste tangy! He's been sick all day today! I don't understand how this has got good reviews because it's been the worst experience I've ever had!
