good little spot for local night. games night Tuesday. decent counter meal. good some venue, big screen for big games and fights. often have live bands or entertainment,friendly staff. bar pokies t.a.b indoor and outdoor for a smoke. plenty of room and seating .gets a awesome little atmosphere happening when it's packed. GOOD TIMES HERE.

We had a great night dancing to a great band the Groove Diggers. We found the place to be dated and a bit tired. The drink prices we're Ok and the staff reasonably friendly.
What was a disappointment to the night was Ben's Kitchen. We ordered vege nachos and two bowls of fries. Worst nachos that I've ever had. Hardly anything on them, full of black olives, stuff all cheese. The fries tasted like they had been cooked in old oil. They we're soft, not nice and crispy.
I wouldn't suggest ordering anything from Ben's kitchen.

Local, friendly, well priced and clean. The RSC Grey Lynn is a pleasant spot for NZ Music, playing pool, dining in the fare coming out from Jimmy The (Fish) Cook, chewing the fat with other locals or reading a book from the well stocked library.
