Not a good place when my girl goes out for the night and gets a bottle thrown at her head. Management didn't help and she had to find her own way to A&E while bleeding profusely from the head. Thanks to a complete stranger she made it. This is not a good place

Foood was amazing the lunch and dinner specials are sooo worth it. Only thing that ruined it was the music lol. It couldnt be turned down and it was just rap music so we had to ask for it to be turned off. If you havent been u need to go the kai is ooonnn😁

Pleasantly surprised by the dine in experience! Lovely staff and amazing food. Great selection of foods, desserts and drinks ; even a good kids menu at a affordable price. Portion sizing were ON ??'? nice and big meals. Would recommend & be back again.

Service was not good, no one came to our table to take our orders we had to go to bar to order.
Table was booked well over 24 hours in advanced and we arrive no tables set up had to set our own tables and wipe them down as they were paru.
Toilets disgusting!!
Would not recommend large groups for dinner unless your prepared to wait 1.5 hours for food to be served.
They tried to say they were busy when there was only 1 other table of 5 there that had already been served there food.
Also the young lady at the bar her customer service was terrible very rude young lady that likes to put her leg on bar and pull her pants out of her crack.
Would not recommend will not be dinning there again.

Joined whanau for a gathering at the Riverside tonight, that had pre-booked for a large amount of guests. Arrived to no tables set up, they were also dirty and sticky. After setting up and cleaning tables we ordered once everyone had arrived. As this is deemed a "Family Restaurant" you would expect the "Temporary"Bar Manager to be dressed appropriately. This was not the case. She was yet again dressed in black short shorts and a sweatshirt. As she was taking our orders at the bar, she kept pulling at her shorts as they kept riding up and this was also inappropriate. Advised after ordering (@15 mins) that some items on the menu were not available.Should have been advised of this at the start.Meals were ok for the price (Special Meal Deals), plate size has changed to regular for all meals.Had to ask for cutlery. The other female staff member who was assisting at the bar/restaurant was great.The Temporary Manager has no people/customer or bar skills. I have worked in Hospo/Customer Service roles for many years and this would be the worst I have encountered in the King Country for a while. If you want to be greeted and served with a fake smile, inappropriate dress and no customer skills, this is the place to go. We certainly will not be returning to this establishment.

Booked in for dinner tonight 25 people changed it to 35 as we had more numbers ended up being only 21 of us! Meals were ok for the prices did come out all over the place not in the order it was ordered! Service was horrible the young lady behind the bar constantly pulling at her pants lifting her leg on the bar, dressed inappropriately poor standards! Toilets 🤮 holes in the door very dirty, worser then the public toilets!!! No table set for us , had to set our own table and wipe it twice as they were dirty n sticky also no cutlery had to ask for it. Hands down worst experience I've ever experienced and I have worked in hospitality for 21years been too many many cafes n restaurant around nz! Would not even recommend to the homeless. Only 1 starred this to post otherwise -100 stars

Mums lived here for 4 years and one day we decided to try somewhere new. Beautiful little place! Couldn't believe the serving sizes when the food came out - doggy bag it was! My wife's steak was cooked better than what she'd had at restaurants. Lovely staff - thank you 🙏

Great place for an evening meal out together. Affordable and nice selection of meals. Made with fresh ingredients and staff are very appreciative of the custom.

Chicken wrapped in bacon, stuffed with camembert. Served with cranberry sauce, salad and mashed potato. Worth the price.

Can't complain about the price $15 for a steak with a free beer but 40 minutes when their not busy is crazy! Others waited 50 minutes for a steak sandwich . They apologized with a free coffee, so we'll come back to see if things get better. Very tasty steak. And a nice location next to river.
