I was told people get friendlier the further away from Auckland you go. Unfortunately not the case here. Staff are cold, sarcastic and at points downright rude. Head to the pub at Waikaia instead

absolutely disgusting behavior from the owners/bar staff we called to get a courtesy van they never turned up. said they only pick up normal people whatever that means? they prefer people to drink drive.

Great pub, friendly and welcoming staff and locals! Meals were big and great quality, would definitely come back 😎

Very impressed with the loaded fries in the cafe. The smokey pulled pork on them was really good and a nice unique touch.

Popped in for lunch in the Cafe, on the way home. Friendly country service. Loved the cheese rolls. Would stopp again.
