I went in with my daughter so she could have some fries and I could have a beer. However, the server claimed they don't sell fries. Which was confusing since all their meals come with fries. The other patrons laughed at his answer. We left without bothering to point out the idiocy of his answer. They clearly did not want us there for no fair or valid reason, just agism.

Lovely people. We were really impressed with the food and service here. Vegetarian meal was great. Super feast. Will be back for sure.

Waited almost half an hour for a pay out on the pokies for $500, which I didnt mind too much as they were busy. The old fella came out & cancelled my machine & I followed him back to the bar. He paid out 1 man in front of me first then he asked me what I wanted & I said Im collecting my $500. Confused he said it was already paid out, he showed me the docket & he hadnt even got the person to sign for it. He asked for my details & said he would have to look at the cameras tomorrow, which my partner & I said thats not good enough to which he replied we're just too busy.
I suppose he felt the gravity of how serious we were & that we weren't going away empty handed because he eventually paid me out.
With DIA coming down hard on Gaming compliance I would strongly suggest practising extreme diligence in your daily procedures.

Always a good place to stop and quench your thirst, great selection of beers on tap with a good atmosphere. Cheers

Great old fashioned kiwi hotel. Simple decor, a separate dining area .
Friendly staff, and 4 cute little dogs on the welcoming committee.
Small but interesting menu - my scotch fillet with garlic butter was the best I've had in ages - perfectly cooked and seasoned, fancy salad with delicious dressing and chips, all for $24. It was a huge.meal, very happy.
Other items included fish bites and chips, falafel salad, enchiladas and pasta.
I will definitely be back.
