wasn't worth $120 a night in all honesty! it had the smallest tv placed so far away from the bed, we found hairs in the beds and the towels(which we didn't use) Very appalling cleaning services, Very outdated and smelt like musty mould! Filthy windows, broken window latches in bathroom and bedroom. Definitely not upto motel standards for sure. Apart from that friendly people. Loved the township just not the motel.

Stayed for 3 nights and room was not serviced once. Very disappointed.

Stopped in for dinner here. Was absolutely amazing and highly recommended. Good kiwi pub food. Will be back!

This an absolute frustration. Seriously unhygienic.

I just checked in the hotel and found a towel full of what seemed like sperms. The smell was awful.I was disgusted and so were my family. I have shown the towel to the receptionist and she was apologetic and refunded me.

Will never be back and don't want anybody yo experience what we experienced.

Handy location, warm and no fuss.

Loved staying here. Units are clean, tidy and warm. Beds are comfortable, the shower pressure is excellent, and the pub staff are welcoming and kind. Thanks to Railway Hotel for the hospitality 🙂🥰

Bare minimum facilities. Mostly clean and tidy. Good for one night stay.

Great Whitebait meal. Reasonably priced and yummy

Room was clean & bright. Only problem with the stay was the leaky shower. Because the hot water took so long to reach the bathroom there was water all over the floor by the time the water was hot.
The restaurant at the pub was ok. Food nothing special.
