Absolutely amazing service. Don't know the absolutely beautiful woman's name, but she made a Chai latte for my brother. Amazing service from her as well as all the other stuff. Would recommend this place even to my worst enemies.

I've been here twice now, both times have been awesome. Firstly the staff were friendly and welcoming, the food was exceptional which made my visit one I want to repeat. I can't wait to re-visit this place. Thanks to the staff for making our short stay memorable.

Had lunch here with some mates while on holiday, food was okay. We ordered the calamari hoping it would be nice and fresh being close to the water but wasn't great. They also had a special for shoe string fries at the time so I was like maybe we'll get some of those, it came out about 20 minutes after ordering and they were curly fries and weren't even hot. Staff were nice but wait times were a bit long for how little people were there. Food quality I would give a 3/5, maybe didn't order the right meal but that's my thoughts on the place.

Great place! Friendly staff! Food was brilliant! Had lunch and two dinners there!!! The fisherman's platter is the best I have ever had! Even had live music out the back in the garden bar on a Sunday arvo! Highly recommend

First off,
1) our family had gotten the wrong room that had a broken bunk that my adult daughter couldn't even climb up on with sore knee and no ladder.
2) No water in rooms or good pressure
3) Loud cleaning staff in hallways waking us
4) 4x Burgler alarms over two nights in middle of night waking us
However we did get our money back with no issues and the room
Changed when they could.
Like they say, you WILL hear all pub noises in evenings. Great location and balcony.

The beds are o.k, very soft. They could improve by adding some hooks for towels in the family room, putting up a sign on the balcony - not to sit outside the rooms of other guests late at night, asking the staff not to blare the music while they clean up after closing and suggesting to the staff member that stays on site not to play music loudly at 2am and if the village siren goes at the same time they are still up i.e 2 am to let the guests know that it is not a tsunami/earthquake and what the siren is for.

Had the Seafood Platter and it was great. Fish, chips, octopus, calamari. Fresh and good size for two. The hotel has indoor & outdoor seating. Nice old heritage building and the team are always run off their feet (but really friendly & helpful). Town is busy and worth a stop at this pub for good food and cold beer.

Have not been here in a while and this is usually an awesome place to get a Pizza and a beer or three. It was not overly busy with quite a few spare tables but the service was shocking. Once we made our order, our server forgot what drinks we had ordered - initially no biggie - and, after asking again, came back with the wrong Cider. We had it anyway as it was a nice cider. After an hour, no food had turned up so we paid for our drinks and left. When paying, was told our food was one of the next in line to start cooking and will be appx 15-20 minutes from there.
I hope this was just a one-time thing as, if not, this place has gone downhill

Got what we expected, double bed just a small & bouncy, easy check in & out. Didn't mind shared facilities as only stayed one night. Clean & tidy, friendly staff.

I stopped by for a drink, the staff couldn't have been any more nicer. They helped me pick a great beer. Lovely place in a great town

Highly recommend the Spot X burger. I've travelled a lot of the world and had burgers around most of it and this was hand down one of the best. The steak in the middle was not the typical rubbery steak you get in a burger. It was cooked perfectly, juicy and soft. Had char flavours too. Combine that with the lovely bacon and everything else in the burger and it was fantastic. Brother had lamb shanks and my little one the kids meal nuggets and chips. Both enjoyed their meals. Service was awesome. Thank you all and see you next time.

We have a few favorite places in Raglan and the pub is one of them. Always had great food and service.
We hadnt been in a few months so 3 of us decided to go for an early dinner. Nobody around to seat us so we just sat down. Had to find someone after waiting to be served. Worse fisherman's basket i have ever had. Looked like it was out of a cheap frozen bag that was thrown in a deep fryer. 3 types of horrible seafood and chips. Over cooked and terrible quality. Would never buy that again. How hard is it to do a great selection of seafood when you're charging for a great meal. The others i was with were not impressed with their meals either. Left really disappointed. Not sure whats happened with the staff and chef but they need to do something differently. They have always been good. Maybe an off day. Heard from others in town that the food has gone downhill. Maybe a staffing issue. Not sure.

This review is for the bar and restaurant. The food is impressively amazing. I went with a group of 7 friends. Between different pizzas and pastas all the dishes were delicious. The seasoning as well as the cooking point is very good. You can also see the part of kitchen from the salon, and you can pick that the kitchen and very clean and the team is very well engaged, being very well coordinated and works with efficiency. I am positively surprised with this place. Highly recommended to dinner at the Harbour View Restaurant if you are in Raglan.

Very disappointing, ordered 2 meals and although they were quiet, it was a big wait. When they arrived, the pesto pasta had no signs or flavour of any pesto. Then after a little bit, we found a metal shaving in the food. We sent it back and they said they would make another one, by the time it arrived all meals and drinks were finished, just as this one was starting. A real shame as the location and character has a lot of potential but you still have to follow through with good service

Had a lovely meal, burgers and fish and chips for the family, draught in large glasses and a reasonable price, $179 for 4 meals, 8 alcoholic drinks, bargain. Not a lot of places kitchens were open late at night so blessing in disguise, outside seating looked cool too
