One of the best deals in upper Hutt. Always great food and friendly staff at surprisingly good prices. Definitely try the burgers but everything on the menu has been great.

Dubious at first but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food for the price. Beef burger was generous with two Patties. Friend got the scotch steak which was cooked to her liking.

One of the staff members was hit and miss in regards to service...

But overall good experience with a no frills honest pub.

Great place to meet for lunch with friends the food is truly superb the size of the servings definitely does not leave you hungry. Service was quick. I had the vegetable curry and what I liked was it was not spicy but spices were on the table to add if you wanted it hot.

Had the Paua Burger (Large) today and Chocolate Brownie to go. The Burger was epic and well worth the $24. Loved the Brownie. Served by an amazing lady wearing glasses who talked me into the burger, didn't get her name unfortunately. Awesome service and great food! I'll definitely be back! Thanks

Staying in the area for work, 2nd night eating here. Delicious home-cooked food, huge portions, good value, friendly staff. Definitely will be back again. Steamed pudding was delicious, just like my grandma's.

Average pub grub. Simple layout and style. Good selection of beers but a little pricey. Food is average. Just bland. Service was ok. They just focussed on the order. No chit chat or anything.

Hi guys just letting you all know don't order the Steam Pudding I went there yesterday I should of checked it while I was there but no end up taking my Steam Pudding back home with me. Open it, took a bite didn't taste good at all very salty. Whoever did the Steam pudding put heaps of Salt in the mixture. What do you guys think of this comment down below.

My first time here. The food here is fresh and delicious and they have a great variety of dinner and desserts. Ideal for families and I will certainly be back. Highly recommend Quinns Post Tavern AAA+++

Lovely pub food, that won't leave you hungry! But of course you will have to fit in one of the amazing desserts. And take a second one home. All the staff were fabulous and friendly. Will definitely go back!

We came in after the motherrs day rush around 3pm. Meals were large and tasty. Service however was quite slow considering there were only 2 tables occupied. Waited close to 20mins waiting for one dessert that we ended up asking to takeaway.

Somehow I expected more. Always curious to try this place, but today was a first. The shakes were excellent, a rare thing these days. Her steak was good, but value at $27.00? Yeah, nah. My beef schnitzel was dry and wizzened and together with manky chips wasn't anywhere close to what I expected. Good ol' fashioned pub grub? I heard it used to be, but maybe not so much now. Should be 2 stars, but given it 3 coz their shakes were so good.
