Amazing function venue! We hired the upstairs room as a 21st venue. After some shuzshing with decorations, it turned out really pretty. The staff were so accommodating and helpful, we got them to put together a grazing table and it was A+. We were able to party the night away and everyone felt very welcome and had a great time.

Go somewhere else if you wish for excellent food in a clean container. This is the first time I came here after the change of this Indian owner, the experience is too bad Service was horrid. We felt inconvenienced being there, and the water glasses were not washed. I felt sick after eating there, and my family felt the same way. Overpriced food. Adult's fish n chips are smaller than kids bento platter.

Everyone that are waiting for their meals are complaining how long it's taking been here over an hour and a half now and I am NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER RIGHT NOW!!
The customers at the next table ask what have we ordered which are 2x Scotch fillets and they were glad they didn't order that..
The Service was very poor!
Atmosphere was poor because customers were disappointed in the service
Our Scotch Fillets had great flavor but came out well done instead of medium rare sadly🙁 Mushroom sauce was nice.
We also had Garlic Bread definitely was a disappointment 😕

Hasn't changed in many years. Pork belly a bit tough and no crispy skin! Hoki fish okay. Just pub grub really, nothing flash.

Went for dinner - we were standing right I front of one of the staff behind the bar & she never even acknowledged us. She went away & we had to wait another 10 minutes before someone else came along & half-pie acknowledged us & reluctantly took our order. Eventually got our table no. & the cold drink. Ordered a coffee which she relayed to another staff member & told her a different coffee to the one I asked her for 2 minutes earlier - & that took 1/4 of hour to arrive even tho there were no other coffees waiting to be made. No spoon only wooden stirrer! Half to 3/4 hr later entrées arrived. Mediocre at best - cheesy garlic bread was cheesy but the garlic was missing. An hour later the mains arrived. To say they were OK would be high praise but by the same token they werent bad, food was just simply ok - and they weren't even busy. Saw quite a few people in the restaurant (rather a grand description of the place) and thought they were making a night if it. Didn't realise they were still waiting for their food. Would we go there again? NO. Would we recommend it? NO - not in million years because that is how long it takes to get served. People don't be like us - check the reviews BEFORE you go there, then go somewhere else!

Meal was incredible, we got the chicken burger and fettuccine with chicken, both were 10/10. The garlic bread was great too, service was fast and polite. Definitely coming here again!

I often order this food takeaway through Book 'n' Order. The food is always delicious and arrives to our house piping hot. Thank you for all the superb food :-)

came to watch the rugby this evening. the 2 girls were friendly and made good drinks, however the food was below average as it was very bland with no flavour and it was pretty cold even sitting by the fire. Still the same old pub just different staff.

Very dissapointed. We used to dine here years ago so decided to return for my husbands birthday. Had to brush food of seat before sitting down. Needed a vacuuming under table. All chicken meals were deep fried to a dehydrated state that barely resembled meat.pork belly was 1 small strip. Isnt coleslaw supposed to have carrot. The young guy who bought my meal out said whos is this. He was missing professionalism and wearing nothing to distinguish him from someone who worked there. The manager for the evening was put in the unenviable position of contacting her boss to pass on our feedback. His response was the best he could do was a 10 %discount. Not good enough. The karaoke was too loud for dining. We should have paid more attention that we were the only diners on a Saturday night..and the slimy water bottle ughh.
