Attended a family event and we had a meal in the newly renovated club. I was very impressed with the new layout. It was very bright and airy and was spotless. The restaurant was spacious, food was hot and well presented and the portion size was good to match the price. It would have been nice if the tables were spaced out a little more but I don't think that distracted from the experience. I enjoyed our time there and would recommend this place .

Cheerful and relaxed very impressed with them. Attended a function which was excellent. Catering was amazing. Management top notch, extremly accommodating thanks porirua club.

Was at the club on Friday evening 23rd June. Fantastic evening. Restaurant was fully booked. Had the largest attendance of members and the whole evening ran like clockwork. The club underwent major renovations over the past several months and is very classy and superb. Bar service was excellent even with the huge crowd. Highly recommend utilising the club facilities. ??'?

Great place and great food, and best of all a good price

Roast meat was dry, no crackling when it was supposed to be with the meal, asked whether we could have loaded wedges without the ham as my wife is vegetarian, they said yes but when we collected the meals, the wedges had ham on it when asked why they said they would bring the meal out. When it came out all they did was scrape the ham out of the meal as it tasted of ham and still had ham bits in it. Very disappointing as only had very limited selection for vegetarians

Love the renovations, very nice! Food was excellent, staff really great despite being extremely busy.

Our work team had lunch here and this is my first time. The place is very big and spacious. The drinks were cheaper and the food was great. I had pork belly and was very nice. There are poker machines and the pools room. We played pools after lunch. This is a very fun place. I signed up as a member, because if you signed up as a member, you get cheaper drinks.

We recently held a family celebration at The Porirua Club. It was a pleasure to work with Aaron who ensured everything run smoothly. Wonderful facilities. Bar staff were amazing and food was delicious. Thank you.

There is a wide choice of activities available, for example, cards, snooker,darts,chess,golf etc. and each adjunct has its particular meeting time. There is live entertainment at weekends, function rooms available,a very good restaurant,and,at certain times,a courtesy van. At the moment it's undergoing extensive renovations, so will be exciting to see the completion.
Renovations are still ongoing, but as of last week,end of June, the restaurant is now fully operational again. Very nice food!
Back for our Thursday night here,8 September, found the new bar arrangement all up and running. Very nice!! Some renovations still to complete, but definitely looking good.

Dinner with my friends from work on Saturday night. Had roast pork, but on the menu it said with crackle. No sign of pork crackle at all? ???" Roast vegetables from the buffet and salad. Hot apple pie was good.??'?

Food is great, and the chips are to die for, decent portion sizes for food!! The service was very pleasant. Would reccomend 😊
