We had food delivered, it arrived 10mins earlier than expected, was hot, authentic tasty roast and bangers. Delicious and good sized portions.

Bar service is a little slow, they can seem more interested in talking to each other than serving you. Good selection and busy creating an atmosphere. Never ate here.

This lovely pub was recommended by a work colleague and it didn't disappoint. Stopped in for lunch, Food and service was excellent. Had the UFC on also, so my partner was very happy.
Felt like being back in the UK being a proper Irish pub.
Would definitely return if we were to return to New Plymouth

Big roomy pub. Huge beer selection. Friendly staff. We got small fries to share for two ppl and it was plenty! Also got beef and Guinness pie and the sunday pork roast. The pie was flaky and the filling was gooood! Not dry and just enough juices. The roast gravy was wayyyy too salty unfortunatelybut the serving was generous!

The food is unreal, big portions, great Guinness and sound staff.

Friendly as bar staff they were great! Food was very average unfortunately. Lamb shanks said they come with gravy and it was like an Indian masala version of lamb shank also the steak was suppose to be medium rear but was very well done.

A fantastic meal and friendly service on Monday made our dining experience perfect. With other establishments in town not open or providing under performance greetings it was great to see a professional outlet operating.

Best fries in New Plymouth (sorry Kev, but it's true - get over it) hands down. They have Guiness on tap, and did I mention the best chips in town? They also have a fire so you can gather around that for the 10 months of the year when the weather's poo. When the weather's good my little lad and I sit out in the sun on the pavement tables. He watches the cars go by outside and I look out for mates who might be working on a Thursday and wave at them in a sympathetic manner while enjoying my pint. Delicious Guiness and delicious chips. I'm not really sure what else you want (or need) from a pub.

Disappointing chicken fettuccine. Chicken was leathery, still looking for the bacon and mushrooms. My husbands Beef and Guiness pie however was v good.

Live Peggy's. A classic Irish style pub, even down to some hand pull pumps. Guinness and Kilkenny in all their glory.
Pub quiz in full swing, it was good to be back in NP.

Such good fun on a Saturday night. I'm thrilled to see live music back. Peggy G's is a fab night out. Staff are great and the crowd is friendly. Awesome place!

Lovely accommodating staff, and friendly.. I was able to get some gluten free meals there which was very nice, the steak meal was gf comes with salad and fries but if you are celiac do not have them, so I opted for the mash which was nice.. The list with black stars can be made gf but again you can't have the fríes.. The other meals are not gf they are just meals my friends got 😁
