Furniture needs upgrades hade a lamb shank take outmeal couldn't eat it and my dog struggled ,the interest the club is making on its accounts would pay for the up grades

We were greeted with a smile on entered by a lady at reception, after being away for more than 3 years. Went for husband's birthday dinner on Pork belly, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables 😋 and apple sauce. Roasted pumpkin, kumera and pork crackles!

Unfortunately, I was there for a funeral reception but good space for events ETC.

We stayed over at their car park in motorhome...a safe place as it's locked up...The club is a great place for a casual meal,,,have a beer or wine and watch the rugby...the staff are very warm and friendly..especially when you want to watch the Tv...All Blacks and The Warriors games..or any sports..thankyou.

Absolutely terrible night. We ordered the roast pork which was advertised to go with apple crumble for free. The roast pork came out and bowls of Christmas pudding and custard. The custard was lumpy and watery. They said they ran out of crumble however when the chef came out he said he wanted to try something different. We exclaimed that not everyone likes Christmas pudding and his response was "well it's free". No, it's not free, it's included and there's a difference. The pudding also shouldn't come at the same time as the main. My gravy was cold, another had cold veges, another had cold pork and the crackle was no crackle at all. Played pool, timer ran out and we were on the black ball. Told us to pay for another 30 mins. We said we're finishing our last game but still insisted we pay for another 30 mins. Definitely won't be coming here again

Nice open plan area. Alright pub food. Staff a little overwhelmed when you come with a larger group of people. Lots of nearby parking.
