Relaxed place to stay, enjoyed it. Clean and comfortable, good security and right in centre of town. Staff very nice.

The food was incredible. More like what I would expect at some expensive Auckland restaurant, but this wasn't expensive. The service was friendly and relaxed and the atmosphere casual yet interesting. Our meals appeared very quickly, and apart from being outstanding texture and flavour, but satisfying portion sizes, attractive and hot. Great dining experience. Highly recommended.

We ate here not to long ago and we were not too impressed, the male serving us was very scruffy. A little word of advice, train your staff to look clean and tidy it makes all the difference. The food was mediocre and I suggest possibly some more training needed on service and with the cook also do you have a Facebook page ? Would also like to review there.

We went with our pre school staff, some positive and some negatives. Definitely dropped since new management has taken over. I think the cook is different now ? The pork belly was served with a majority of fat on it not good at all. The steak with seafood sauce we asked for med and it came out med rare. Waitress didn't even care the prices have gone up and the service and food down. Keep working on it I'm sure you will improve with time! The desserts were great ! So all in all a good end to the night '

Needs air conditioner rooms are really hot no air circulating in room. The rooms though are very clean and fresh. Heather awesome host definitely a must to come back to. It's just the heat in the room

Backpackers? NO to hot, hot noisy rooms overlooking the street. Sun streaming in making the rooms like a sauna during the day and far into the night.

I have eaten in this restaurant on many occasions over the past two and a half weeks and it is some of the best food I have eaten around the world. I have tried many dishes on the menu including desserts and everything was amazing.
The chef and the whole kitchen staff work so well together and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very relaxing.
I highly recommend going into the restaurant for either lunch or dinner and enjoying this amazing new dining location in Opotiki.
