We had a great dinner here! Was fairly quiet being a Tuesday evening but the staff were all super friendly and attentive, the food was quick and delicious.
It is warm and cozy inside too, would definitely visit again

DONT recommend the seafood chowder at all! 🤦🏽‍♀️ Complete let down, no seafood flavour at all - I recommend you relook at this recipe, cause you are mising so much flavour in this dish.

Buttermilk chicken burger was amazing though, I would recommend!🥰

Overall average food, service was a little off too, dude was trying to rush us through ordering for a table of 8, just be patient next time🤦🏽‍♀️

Wouldnt recommend this place for food, but for drinks yes!

Average at best, from the barman coughing over everything to the prices charged for main meals that do not reflect what is served.
The lamb shank with red wine au jus sauce was more like tomato bolognase out of a can, overall presented well but could be better.

A bit disappointed over all

We were served at the door and they sat us down even though we didn't have a reservation. Staff were super friendly.

The service was quick, the entries were quite nice. We ordered a few of the cocktails, I didn't find them particularly memorable.

The mains were the biggest downfall, my friend ordeted his streak as well done and it came out as medium rear, mine was cooked correctly but still quite flavour less, and the the peppercorn gravy was just like any other packet gravy I didn't get the peppercorn flavour at all. The seasoned vegetables were just frozen veggies with salt and pepper. The coleslaw my friend ordered also looked really disappointing.

We did walk out more than full but not impressed. The bill was huge , not worth the money considering the food quality and the pub atmosphere rather than Fine dining.

Wouldn't recommend.

The thing that really stood out for me were the 'seasonal vegetables' that came straight from the freezer.

Our $20 fried chicken entree was a skinny chicken breast cut like katsu chicken on top of a heap of coleslaw.

Our mains arrived while we were still eating our entree. If your food isn't going to arrive in servings, don't call it an entree, call it a bar snack.

The steak was underwhelming. The whole main was underseasoned. The salt & pepper on the table were marked incorrectly. The wine jus tasted worse than a gravey packet. Somehow they made garlic mashed potatoes flavorless. It was actually impressive.

The drinks were surprisingly inexpensive compared to the food pricing. We left there with a $111 bill. I was actually in shock. I've left fine dining paying less and feeling full.

The atmosphere was nothing to write home about. Just a pub. But you're trying to be something you're not. If you're going to serve food from a freezer, you shouldn't be allowed to charge such prices.

After reading some of the other reviews, your response often seems 'you should have said something at your meal check'. I can tell you. We didn't get a meal check. We didn't see a staff at our table after they dropped our mains.

My highlights were being greeted at the door & being seated at a nice table and then walking out the door to buy food at the lovely pizza place down the road. Can you please let me save you? Don't make the same mistake me and others have made. Go get some pizza a few doors down and save your night. Oh, we also enjoyed laughing about the comical experience the whole walk home. Thanks for the story!

Three other people & myself went in for lunch. There was hair in my food. The food was overpriced for the value. The drinks (non alcoholic) and nachos were average at best. The rest of the food was below average and not what we were expecting. If the food was better value and bigger portions it would reflect the pricing. Unfortunately this was not the case. Left hungry and unsatisfied.

This was a pleasant surprise. Nice inside, nice atmosphere, lots of space, good little waterproof outdoor space where the kids liked playing with the little rocks. Food was generally great. We didn't like the kids mac cheese though. Coffee nice. Would come here again as a good meeting spot for family. Friendly attentive service.
