Great place for bowling. Atmosphere is awesome with the disco lights and music. Always pretty busy when I've gone. A little bit expensive in my opinion, cost us around $40 for 2 adults and 1 toddler to play 1 game of bowling. Still, a lot of fun for the family.

Beautiful family night out & dinner. 5 kids & 5 adults. 2 rounds of bowling, two platters and 2 fountains of drinks. It was abit expensive however it was lovely that we could reserve two lanes prior to heading in and it wasn't as busy as most other bowling places in wellington. The music was lovely and the lights were dimmed so it seemed like a disco part to the kids. Awsome selection of balls for the kids & alternatives to help them. We are looking forward to our next family night out here ??'?🏾

My only suggestion here, you have a revolving screen with the menu & prices but even with my speed-reading can't keep up, sure i could ask for a menu, I was more curios than anything. Great service & friendly

In addition to my first review and in order to respond to the manager, it was not "several weeks ago", it was on 1 April and I don't think it is too late to change your music videos or speak to your staff about their lack of customer service. I'm not the only one who has mentioned this in their reviews so sort it out.

Had my son's birthday party here a few weeks ago. There seemed to be just one worker running around doing everything. She ignored me for about 3 minutes at the bar while I waited to get a drink - all she had to do was to look up from her paperwork and acknowledge me. She also looked at me like I had 3 heads when l asked for another top up of the kids' drinks. She was pretty curt with us the whole time and needs some education in customer service. Also didn't appreciate the inappropriate music videos playing - not suitable at all for the time of day and clientele (mostly kids). Would not recommend for a party.

This place is on the precipice of being great. With some TLC is could easily be modernized to attract a wider crowd or even converted into the retro 80s bowling centre that it once was. In the current state, it's got a feeling of abandonment towards the general community while keeping the local pro and rec leagues at it's core. But what would I know 😂

Prices seem steep (for the lack of atmosphere)... Only benefit is that there is nothing really around to compete against.

Excited to keep an eye on this place and see if any of this feedback is implemented 🙏

I was out with my family and we thought it would be nice to pop in and play a couple of games. A member of staff told me I was rude not to reserve first and it is only good manners to book ahead.

Good fun with friendly group. Very hot, but good with fans going.

It's OK, needs a lot of repairs. Has lost a lot of its soul these past few years but it still is a decent place for bowling. Probably only visit if you have to or on a budget for lanes. Food and drinks are a bit pricey and kinda average.

Not only a great place for a birthday party or corporate event but if you or any kids want to get into the sport of bowling North City Tenpin in Porirua is the place.

They have leagues to bowl in from fun doubles through to more serious leagues. You don't have to be a pro.

And for the kids there's Bowl Patrol for beginners, then Ally Cats for when they get the hang of it through to the elite level of National Champion and New Zealand representatives. There's a place and coaching available for all kids.

Harry's pro shop there is the best for all your bowling gear too from balls to shoes. And, Harry himself is the best ball driller in the land.

Should've written this a long time ago. It's the best bowling center in the country, there's no debate about it. As a tenpin bowler, it's the best facility I could ask for. The best owners, incredible coaches, and great coaching programs such as Bowl Patrol for young kids, as well as leagues to get people to the same position I'm in today. North City Tenpin made it possible for me to travel internationally representing New Zealand for the first time this month. It's a shame only 5 stars is the limit for reviews, I would go higher.

To the elderly person on tonight I found she was very rude and looked like she couldn't be bothered serving anyone. I felt sorry for the young girl serving customers for bowling as she was so busy. I'm not racist or anything but your worker whom seemed liked she was Indian served who she wanted. I waited a good 10 minutes to be served for a pint of beer. She wasn't serving anyone at the time but kept walking an ignoring her customers. Unfortunately I found she was damn rude not only to me but other customers an I hope they place a comment. If u gonna treat customers like that woman u need to find another job. We maybe Pacific Islanders u need to treat us all da same. My family is there to have a fun night not to be treated that way. Bowlarama find better staff that relates to all cultures. This happened at Kenepuru tonight.by the way the young girl did more work than the older lady

Great place to spend time with mates and friends. Friendly and great staff. Awesome facilities for bowling 🎳 and kicking back having fun. Drinks and food available there

Bowling isn't really my thing. Didn't really enjoy the venue and also a bit pricey for 2 adults and a 4 year old. $70 for 2 games not really worth it.
Friendly team there which made it a little bit better.
