Friendly staff, great service....free housie tickets with meals. Very affordable, enjoy the chicken salad and the roast of the day. Curried sausages were a bonus this week, the desserts are great, ice cream sundaes are a hit with our group, I enjoy the chocolate brownie its served with cream and icecream ??'?.... I meet up with a group of friends on a weekly basis, good atmosphere.

Great bar and friendly locals. We were allowed to freedom camp overnight. Not sure if this is a regular thing but we were most grateful and did not leave a mess.
We went back and spent New Year eve 22/23. They had a great band and the whole place was a buz

Had 2go and have a covid test 4 surgery the line start small when waited 30 min and had test it was easy as my ist one better than I thought when we left it was out by road getting way more so pays 2 just go in morning or after lunch about 2pm seems ok 4 me so if u need to get one quick and painless here

Was very disappointed in the cooking of my food steak was just about bone dry not medium rare even though I ask for medium rare, salad was average chips cooked well. Friends dishes= pasta looked nice, seafood chowder was more baby food and one dish was left out of order we did get it free but by the time the dish showed up we had all finished. Was hoping the cook ya own side was open but get there told closed after booking wont be returning sorry for bad review but how I feel

Love this place! Big Willy's is Awesome! Excellent service and top notch steak! Even better being able to cook it to perfection yourself on their DIY grill! Delicious salads to match. Perfect comfort food in a family friendly environment. A crowd favourite when he visit Invercargill.
