I liked this place... but had some concerns about the food. We ordered the platter for 2 and we didn't get any pickles or wings. Instead of the wings we were given some microwaved shredded chicken that was quite gross... the rest of the platter tasted go and steak was good!
Unfortunately we could see our chef preparing the food... I wish we didn't... the chef handled the raw meat with her bare hands, then handled a bunch of cash, paying out someone who won in the pokies. Then without washing her hands, she continued plating up our platter, touching the food with her raw meat/dirty money fingers 🥲

Only cafe open lunchtime Saturday in Kaitaia and was very busy. Crew were helpful but perhaps need a little more training. For example we were a family group of 8 and one order, a platter for 5 got forgotten. Their drinks came but no food. Had to ask.for serviettes and side plates. Despite this the food was good, atmosphere friendly and would go again.

The staff were very kind to let us in at 2:30pm, and the food arrived very fast. It's decent, and I quite like the casual drizzle of bbq sauce on the ribs - it's less intense, unlike the authentic American way. The steak though was overcooked...

Great food for price compared to other places
Absolutely delicious and filling! They are generous with portion and toppings.
This was our order for 4 hungry adults and it was more than enough. Highly recommend!

This place does amazing fish & chips!!! The portion size is massive. The staff working here are so welcoming and funny.
They do the best espresso martinis ever! They were nice and creamy, shaked by hand. I highly recommend you try it.
