Fantastic meal with gold card. Big serving for small price. Wonderful service. Been there twice this week. Their roast pork is to die for. Thoroughly recommend this place.

Pub lunches are usually a good feed for reasonable money. Not gourmet, but sound.
Fish & chips here are what you would expect. No complaints.
HOWEVER
The " steak sandwich" they serve is actually a Philly cheese steak in a hotdog bun. Look it up, only the Americans can call this food.
It was the most disgusting looking greasy thing I have ever seen - ruins it for both the steak as well as the cheese.
I took one look and left it untouched. Cost me $27 to learn to ask first.
Be careful when you order.

Seafood chowder so good on a chilly day. Every scoop of soup brings a spoonful of seafood chunks thoughtfully chopped up into manageable chewable bits.

Friendly service, and the most amazing delicious meal, food was heaps, and very well prepared, presented and worth every penny spent. I will surely be back! This is the go to place!

It was a Christmas team lunch, below average pizza and definitely not worth the price, serving staff was very unprofessional and uninterested both at the bar and table service but the manager was a nice guy. Not the best experience, still undecided whether I would like to give the establishment an another try.

My husband thought his roast meal was delicious and just a little on the small side. Said he would've been happy to pay a bit more to get a bigger helping.
I ordered the warm roast vegge salad (minus feta cheese) which was the size of an entree but cost $26. It was delicious! But I was still hungry and feeling a bit hard done by. I told the staff, Nigel I think, and he brought me another salad free of charge. I was satisfied after that and he discussed it with the chef who was going to adjust the serving size. Happy with the outcome. Thank you for listening and being open to our feedback.

Absolutely loved their Market Fish Special. Service was amazing. A bit dissapointing to see the high chairs used in many restaurants these days aren't suitable for all babies. More so 1 year and up. Mine is currently 6 months old and eating finger foods but wouldn't be secure enough in the wooden high chair as she doesn't hold herself well enough. A padded high chair with good straps is needed.

300g ribeye, mushrooms, seasonal veggies, two eggs over hard, 1 pint dark beer, 1 flat white...a very enjoyable meal.

Loved my liver and bacon meal, husband had pork roast enjoyed. We have had a few meals there, always come back.

Yummy platter and lively atmosphere! The staff were very helpful in offering choices and recommendations on the different beers on offer.

Great bar with plenty of Monteith's on tap, ranging from lagers to craft beers. There is an outdoor area which is nice to sit in as it tends to be quiet. Reasonably priced and one of the only pubs in the immediate area so tends to be a local for many people.

Great food. Sunday roast for $15 was tasty and great size. Drinks weren't served to each person and expected to pass down table. Wasn't busy and could move down side of table so seemed lazy. Had to ask for order to be taken as waited so long. First time service not so good. Would have been 5/5 if service was better. Clean toilets. Bar and know there are quiz nights and wine tastings.
