Live music on Sunday afternoons, pool table ($2 a game), lovely outside area. Often bands on a Saturday night too (details on their Facebook page). Staff all real friendly. Tap beer and cider, large selection of bottles. Didn't eat but looking at other people's food coming out looked real good & very substantial. Menu has everything from pub grub to platters to share. Generally locals here who are very welcoming. A lot of bikers too who park right outside if you want to check out the bikes. 5 mins walk from the DOC campsite.

We visited this pub after seeing great reviews . My friends and I thought what a lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious. The beer was extremely cold and great prices .cindy the owner was very pleasant .I wish tauranga had a bar like this . Keep it up matata

For a little coastal pub this has a big impact. Service is so friendly and the food is 5 star. A great place for a family get together.
