I been a gold member here for a year and I've never had an appalling & horrific experience until now. I came into Masse with my partner and her sister for a relaxing game of pool.
Firstly, when we arrived I had not realised my membership had expired (no email notifications that I had checked) so I was at the front door using my Masse app on my phone to unlock the doors and sign in. I tried multiple times. Then one of the staff members (receptionist) said out loud in an inappropriate tone to wait for the doors to click open. I tried a few times and she became frustrated with me and repeated the instructions in an angry tone: "wait for the sound (click of the door)". I showed the staff member that I had the Masse app on my phone and had the QR code. She then came over and checked my phone to which then she investigated and found out that my membership had expired. I thought this should have been an easy fix, but she didn't explicitly say what I could do to renew it and then proceed to shout at us loudly "your membership has expired" multiple times to which we replied "yes, how do we go about renewing it". They finally let us in they renew my membership and were aggressive and hostile throughout the whole interaction including the signing of my partner and sisters name in the registrar names which we incorrectly wrote out three times largely to their vague instructions and gestures. We asked her if there is any further details required to which she responded "I don't need the attitude". We were about to leave but decided to play a game as we had already paid. Disgusting hostile and patronising behaviour from the two women who were working tonight who stared at us until we left making for a truly uncomfortable experience.
