We had an event for 100 people. The lead up to the event was easy. Sam was great to communicate with, he was very accommodating and reassuring that everything would run smoothly. And he was right, it did run smoothly.

The kids had their own dining area, which was appreciated by kids and adults alike. Adults were all seated comfortably in the restaurant area. Food came out quickly, meals were hot, and the portion sizes were generous. The garden area was perfect for kids to let off steam, while the adults socialized.

Went today for a late birthday lunch. What a freaking awesome feed. Meals were big and tasty. If you like mojitos, get the passionfruit mojito. Could have stayed and kept drinking. We are locals, have never been to the Tera, and definitely will come back again. Staff were friendly and service was awesome. Yes, it's not slap bang in the middle of town, but the pub has been there for over a hundred years. They have a courtesy van for those who want to get dropped off and not worry about drink driving. We might take up the offer, but not sure if they drop off where we live (rural).

Warm and cosy, and a bit more upmarket feel than the general town hotel. And has good old fashioned motel feel too

It was just a walk-in experience today, but it locked neat and organized and a fine spot, at the end of town past MacDonalds

Dont play pokies here. Got booted out after 3 hours, despite a 20min lunch break. I have 1 day out per month and I spend the day on pokies. They also enforce in busy periods. Apparently if Id had a 30minute smoke 🤢 that would have been ok. Yuk. Never encountered this anywhere. Wrong people to run pub, new to area and this wont be my local.

Bit out of the centre of town but Decent sized meals at the restaurant, yummy cocktails at the bar. Very professional team, and thr meals came quickly from the kitchen. Highly recommend the Beef Burger. The lamb shank was cooked to perfection. While the pork belly didn't appear crispy on the outside there was some crunch when eating it. Yummy mash and very tasty Beetroot.

Never stayed in rooms but atmosphere is great and a lovely place to eat out.

Stopped into enroute for meal....fish was astounding and great service

Went to the restaurant for a birthday dinner for our son and daughter in law. They both had the lamb shank while my wife had the beer batter fish and chips, and I had the rib eye steak.
The meal was brilliant as was the service.
But the decor could do with an update.

Oh dear, oh dear, what a come down. I don't know what's happened but the meals were a big let down this time. For entrée we had garlic bread with balsamic vinegar, sorry but where was the garlic, the bread was just slices of a loaf with butter spread on and warmed to melt the butter, the vinegar was ok. For mains, I had the crispy pork belly, this was overly salted and not crispy, the kumara mash looked like it had been thrown at the plate and way too much, seasonal veges roasted carrot, pumpkin, beet root bits, yeh? Son had lamb shank, this looked good but sitting on a huge pile of mash potato, and the same seasonal vege. The ladies both had chicken and bacon pasta, of which there was plenty of pasta, but the sauce looked to much like chicken tonight. The service was good and friendly, but waitresses could use note pads for taking orders. The overall cost was acceptable including drinks. More then likely we will return.

Beautifully kept inside with indoor outdoor. A popular place for locals. Add a couple of 15amp EV chargers and would be a great stopover point to the bay :-)

The service was fantastic. The food was great, large portions. Really clean. Reasonably priced.

By far the best fish and chips restaurant in the town.

Immaculate food, great portions, great staff, comfortable seating with great outdoor playground for kids.

I really love the "informal" setting, way more layed back and casual, you don't need to dress up and look posh.

We only used the restaurant part and we couldn't hear the racket of the bar so good distance away. We have never tried the accommodation
