A very old hotel celebrating 125 years of rugby in the area today. The pub was over full!! Richie in town. Hilarious dining room which we organised!! Turned heat pump on to 30, Closed curtains, Found cutlery which only had knives no forks. BUT a typical country pub huge meal and good service when they were soo busy at the bar!!

Enjoyed a delicious chicken burger and small meals for the kids with a beer.

Our regular dinner stop in Kurow, mixed grill for huge appetites, and the blue cod meal is amazing

Best pub food we had in a while! Food was yummy, service was fast and super friendly! Loved the healthy options too, so cool to be able to replace the fries by mash and veggies, especially for the kiddos. Great vibe as well, with many locals, families, and all generations there.

Excellent Pub. Just what we needed after a big ride on the Motorbikes. Rooms are good, facilities are shared but brand new and very clean. Great food. Friendly service and secure parking for the bikes.

I ate here my three nights in Kurow. Highly recommend the blue cod and the burgers but I have a funny feeling everything on the menu is excellent here! Great atmosphere in the bar with a mix of locals and passing trade.

Went to Kurow Hotel for dinner and the chef must be complimented for the perfect steak, crisp fresh salads, an awesome meal. Bar staff were great. Friendly, obliging and the locals were in there watching the All Blacks beat the Wallabies. So we enjoyed dinner, the game, drinks and a fantastic atmosphere not found in city pubs. After our overall experiences with Kurow, we are even considering moving there.

We had a meal here, which was delicious and generous, not cuisine style, but a decent pub meal, which was just what I wanted. Great friendly atmosphere, we happened to be there when a rugby test match was on, really enjoyed the meal then a couple of drinks watching the match along with all the other patrons. Thoroughly enjoyable evening.
