We had a drink here on 3 May after our meeting and the staff was accommodating. They have a variety of zero alcohol drinks, beers, wine and other drinks. Good place to chill when in Kawakawa

I was absolutely impressed by the quality of my experience, food, beverages, and service 😋. I came back the night after my previous meal and drinks to check to see if my previous experience was just as good....it was better.... I highly recommend this Ale house in Kawakawa, wonderful staff and friendly locals who all create a wonderful Kiwi atmosphere. 100%!!!

I would highly recommend to travellers passing through. The food was delicious, service was great and staff were awesome.

Visited for $25 steak dinner about 8:30 on a Friday night. Our varying steak orders were perfectly cooked, came with hot chips and a simple, fresh salad with chunky cuts of tomato and cucumber. Country style meal. Steak comparable to a Lonestar steak. Place was clean, freindly, warm and welcoming. Fast service too. Can recommend.

They did not honour their blackboard menu outside. Then wouldn't cook a steak for me. Then everything i asked for I was refused. So disappointed we left and went to Kerikeri. I wish i could give them less than one star.

A group dinner/celebration/farewell. Well presented meals delivered to all. Conversations in full flow as the music and television are not too loud, and a joyful time had by all.
Service is always punctual and delivered correctly with staffs personal touch of remembering everyone's names and orders.
Highly recommended as a local destination.
