Lovely local restaurant and pub, friendly service with a family vibe.

Ordered 2 fish burgers, a cheeseburger, a scoop of chips and 3 sausages. I paid almost SIXTY dollars for this meal and was left absolutely livid at the cost of money I spent for the terrible quality on food, the quantity of the food and the presentation. If this is the only thing on offer then my suggestion is to starve because after my meal, that's what I was - still starving. I feel so sorry for the locals who have to endure these prices and whoever is on that kitchen needs a rude wake up call on value for money and HOW to cook. Small and soggy fish, a scoop of chips is $5 and you literally get $20 chips. My cheeseburger was mainly made up of lettuce. Worst experience of my life. I even called up to complain/get a refund.. and was told the duty manager would contact me back.. I've heard nothing.

We thought we would treat ourselves to a nice meal paying 48.00 dollars it took 45 minutes so I thought it would be nice and hot. The chips were raw and undercooked and the hot dogs were cold as if everything was cooked at different times . We ended up throwing it all out very disappointed especially with the price we paid.

What a great place to eat and drink. I watched staff work the bar and gracious service, ensured customers were happy to wait their turn. The kitchen gave lovely meals and going by the take aways being sold while we ate in the dining room, showed how popular the food is. Congratulations to the management and staff. A simple hotel with some little luxuries. Highly recommended

Had a great stay here. Friendly staff and locals. Good meals. Basic rooms but clean and cheap price. Will be back.
