Stopped in for lunch as a party of four, at the same time there was a function on. We expected a long wait but service was excellent, fast and hardly any waiting. And the meals didn't cost an arm and a leg either.

Checked out the lodge on Sunday ,they had a lovely buffet breakfast 20$ , awesome food lovely friendly service

We had a team of 9 for and evening meal and it was surperb. The best Bluecod I've had in a long time. Very friendly staff as well.

Popped in for a snack while travelling through Tapanui. Ordered 2 toasted sandwiches and they were HUGE and delicious! They ended up being shared between 5 people. Awesome! Will stop again on our return trip.

What a great little pub. The poor staff didn't know what hit them when a herd of our family and friends packed into the quiet bar for a shared drink after a funeral service. They were really friendly and accommodating. And we all enjoyed sharing a few cold drinks while reminiscing and telling stories. Thank you for your hospitality.

Had a great time here enjoying a beer in the garden bar. Staff were friendly and hospitable. Could not fault it.

Our unit was SPOTLESSLY clean and very comfortable. An excellent choice of accommodation and highly recommended. We didn't eat at the Lodge but great that meals were available on site.

Excellent accommodation in spacious and meticulously prepared rooms. Plenty of good beer and suitable pizzas dispensed at the bar, acres of parking for buses, vans and trailers and all of this in bustling buzzing downtown Tapanui, high-octane centre for tourism and trout-fishing!

Room is very spacious, very clean, useful kitchen utensils and electric stove available. Cash is acceptable. Staff is quite friendly. Most of all best value for the rental price. Good stop point between big town. You will have to shop at big grocery before you drive to this small Forrest town.
